Mix of canon of Pikmin 3 and Pikmin 4, with a hint of canon divergence.
After finally being rescued, Captain Olimar, the crew of the S.S. Drake, and the Rescue Corps, along with the castaways take their leave and depart from PNF-404, and the Pikmin come along as well. However, the Onion unexpectedly malfunctions and crash lands on another planet, one filled with… bright colored equines? Olimar flies after the Onion to help the Pikmin. and a certain pegasus gets the attention of the captain, considering she can understand the Pikmin! Together with her friends’ help, Olimar and Fluttershy need to find all the Pikmin and the Onions before something bad happens to them.

I can't wait for more. I wonder how Fluttershy will react to learning about how Olimar's travels to PNF-404 and the creatures that Olimar and the Pikmin slain? I mean for Pikmin, killing the creatures is mostly nourishment to repopulate their species.

Pikmin 2 reference on the apples and strawberries. I mean the ship names any treasure collected by Olimar, Louie and the Pikmin. They found Rock, Purple and Blue Pikmin but not their Onions. I can't wait for Twilight and her friends to listen to Olimar's tales on PNF-404. Also I imagine Rainbow would be embarrassed by the Winged Pikmin for being cute, pink and the only ones with wings

I am happy to hear you like it. As for the absence of the Ice Pikmin, the cover was made by RaynesGem long before the release of Pikmin 4, hence why there are no Ice Pikmin with Fluttershy. As Olimar said in the first chapter though, Ice Pikmin will be present within the story itself.

My best guess is ice boxes and a freezer in Sugar Cube Corners. Also I wonder if the Pikmin will collect some things to take to Olimar's ship? You know, fruits, vegetables, junk, toys, candy & desserts.
