Over the countless years, ponies have become almost monotonous to Princess Celestia. Then along comes Anon, so strange and laid back, and he treats her like anypony else. She'd forgotten what that felt like, and finds she quite enjoys it. They have a very enjoyable evening together as their friendship blossoms.

This story made for the artist Enonnnymous in response to the drawing in the cover.

This was heart rendingly adorable. My only criticism is it’s a bit hard to get a sense of context. The opening conversation implies Celestia and the MC are already romantic, and that they cuddle/show affection, but it’s embarrassing to do it in public. But then they act more akin to being on the first date/still flirting and feeling out. The ending implies this was a big confession/confirmation of a relationship, where before they were just friends. The three or so sections feel a bit disconnected that way.

The opening conversation is supposed to sound suggestive of a sexual act, which is then revealed to merely be a hoof massage... which is still considered lewd to ponies. It's a joke. It's also why the cover art is cropped to cover up Anon's hands--that'd give it away immediately.

I was trying to convey that they are friends who have been hanging out already and one or both may already have feelings for the other but neither has admitted it yet. I.e. this is toward the end of a friendship which blossoms into romance. I'm sorry if I missed the mark for you--though I'm glad it was adorable anyways :)

AH, any story where Sunbutt gets to be happy is nice...not a simp for her like Alumx is (Nightmare Moon got me good)

This was a cute and fun story, especially the lewd hand/hoof holding (how scandalous! ). I love stories where we see this side of Celestia in fanfics, a casual but fun friendship that blossoms into something more! My only critique was near the end, where at first I thought it was a little rushed they immediately went to kiss and 'love you', considering Luna just met Anon and Celestia didn't even know where his house was, then after rereading the beginning I realized they were friends for a while now.
