Any Human-in-Equestria thing will always alter the timeline of the main canon story, so he should just roll with it and not be too upset about it, unless his story will interfere with the Mane 6. Just a humble opinion.

Originally it wasn't, but I didn't know if I would end up finishing it. So I made the decision to have it open ended so I could make a sequel if I ever wanted to revisit it. I also wanted to see what people thought about my writing style at the time, because I had a book planned that would be pretty long for my own standard's.
