I decided to make my first fanfic an MLP one because A) There's already a big market for MLP fanfic, and B) The story really captured my heart.

This story is a sequel to My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic: Heart of Friendship

A collection of mostly episodic stories taking place after the completion of the Mane 6's latest mission and the humans' great migration from the Heart of the World. Both peoples can have very different values and outlooks, but life would be no fun at all if everypony, everycreature, and everyone were exactly the same, right? Old enemies might become new friends as new enemies make trouble that only multi-species teamwork can thwart.

I remember that cake making song from Asterix and Cleopatra animated films. Love those films. Haven't seen the live action movies of Asterix yet.

I was hoping someone would mention that. I have a lot of different interests and therefore a lot of different inspirations for the work I do. I don't know a lot about the live-action Asterix movies, but I haven't heard good things about the new one, like how Asterix acts super out of character.

From what I have seen their is 3 live action movies of Asterix and they get some things really wrong in at least one of them. Their are some CGI made ones too but I haven't seen them for they are not available in the USA. I have to say I did see a review of a CGI for Asterix movie about the druid trying to find a replacement for him. It was well done and quiet up to character accuracy.

Funny thing, I think there was a release in the US, but they were direct-to-video. I think you can buy them on YouTube, but I use a pirate streaming site. I know that at least one of them has different versions between the US and UK releases because I've seen one with different voice actors.

Not surprising that there is two different versions. I would be surprised if there was only one version. As for the direct-to-video I didn't see it near me, but that is not a surprise either. I will have to look online for a copy for sale on ebay or Amazon. I know the original films are available on YouTube for free and I love to watch them from time to time.
