This story is a sequel to Sonic: Make Your Mark
After discovering an ancient message from the crystals, that was made by the one and only Princess Twilight Sparkle. Sonic and the Mane 5 head to where it all started and uncover the mystery of how magic disappeared and put the spirits of Equestria´s ancient heroes to peace.
But unbeknownst to the heroes, there is somepony who is lost in this abandoned world. And needs their help.

Don’t worry Sonic doing his own thing, is definitely something I wanted to implement into this story. Sonic X Pipp moments are also happening, within the next few chapters in small doses.

Hey there. I have to admit that I am rather curious as to how this is going to turn out, but I WILL be respectful enough to not ask for too many spoilers.
Definitely liked the scene-setting with the main group before Twilight and Spike had their chat (and I'm guessing that, judging by the voice cast, the rest of the Mane Six will AT LEAST appear in flashback speaking cameos [which is minimal spoilers at best]).
I also appreciate the including SOME minor elements of the new series while going very much your own way And, while keeping spoilers to a minimum, I can only say that I hope that some of the changes will include the heroes finding out about Opaline MUCH sooner and Misty wising up and switching sides ALSO much sooner,
At any rate, really looking forward to more of this.

Again, loved the look at the gang's life (particularly the gang learning how to make smoothies) before they received Twilight's message. And, yeah, Sonic has a point about how battle plans can be useless when the tide of battle can literally change in half a heartbeat. Though, yes, knowing as much about the enemy as possible before going in still helps in hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. Given he's the most experienced concerning that sort of stuff, it makes a lot of sense.
I'm going to guess that either the next chapter or one of the near future chapters is going to have the gang gaining even more information about Opaline. But that's the maximum I'm going to guess.
Anyway, the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up are well done and I'm definitely looking forward to more of this.
Ah yes, Pipp struggling to talk with Sonic always makes me happy :)
Other than that, really like where this is going so far!

I’ll hopefully get it out soon. But motivation just keeps on being low, and the word goal I want to achieve feels like it won’t happen.
I’ll do my best to update this story as soon as possible, but please understand that it may take time. Especially since, I’m having to take on more adult responsibilities.

Thanks very much for getting this chapter up. Took a while, but was certainly worth the wait. And the fact it was posted on the same day as Chapter 5 of the Actual Make Your Mark makes it even more appropriate. VERY MUCH liked the gang's dialogue as they were getting ready to leave as well as Sunny's reaction to finding out that they are in Ponyville and also appreciated the assorted reactions to the crystal castle. And, yeah, I could see Sonic rushing in headfirst against a bunch of Timberwolves (especially since he IS fast enough to be a VERY difficult target for them).
Most certainly looking forward to more of this.

Yup. This was very good.
Love how Sonic starts to be more like himself: Cocky, arrogant, jokester, but still with a heart of gold to help others out, and he's definitely helping his friends here by facing those Timberwolves without hesitation.

It's weird that I suggested the whole thing, and I still felt a huge grudge when Pipp was so close to say she likes Sonic and didn't because of the Timberwolves. Oh well, better luck next time, I guess.

Again, excellent work on the latest chapter. REALLY liked the effort going into the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up. REALLY loved the teamwork going into beating the Timberwolves (as well as the frustrations with Sonic's actions before they put the plan into action) as well as Sunny's reaction to her first face-to-face meeting with Twilight.
And, yeah, I can also see, at some point, either Twilight or Spike commenting on how Sunny and her friends remind them a bit too much of how Twilight and HER friends were when they were starting out. But that's for later on.
At any rate, really looking forward to more of this story.
I love this chapter can’t wait for the next one I am getting excited about it.

Right now since she hasn't appeared yet, she'll be voice by Bahia Watson as a placeholder until I can find someone who can fit her character a lot better.
VERY little I can say other than wonderful job on the dialogue, characterizations and future chapter set-up. REALLY appreciated the gang's reaction to meeting Twilight face-to-face (ESPECIALLY Sunny) as well as Twilight having initial difficulty figuring Sonic out. Also appreciated Twilight providing that sort of information on Opaline and admitting that she has, like Sunny, had her share of freakouts for a variety of reasons. And Zipp catching on to Pipp getting that attached to Sonic was another good touch.
I'm going to guess that the next few chapters are going to involve the gang undergoing a training period to better learn how to fight Opaline and learn new abilities. That seems like minimum spoilers, especially since I fully admit that I could be wrong.
Anyway, really looking forward to more of this.
