Life is full of all sorts of potholes. Some bigger than other, some deeper than other. Some potholes' falls hurt, other might even completely break you. Some potholes, however, can change your life.
So, what is a mare to do when she finds herself falling into one?

tbf the actual initial prompt was actually: "pony fall into hole in comedic fashion" but I'm not much of a comedy writer so here we are. Having said that, thank you.

I hate those kind of moments. The ones where you're already having a bad day and some horrible incident with infinitesimal chance of happening actually occurs, and your left sitting there, thinking, why today, why me, what are the chances this world happen when I'm already dealing with these other problems.

Well written, really liked how you showed the psychological she's falling into and the physical one and demonstrated how it seems there's no way out without help from others for either one.

The feeling of hopelessness is palpable here, really forcing its way to forefront of her thoughts.

As the moment reaches its darkest, does the light shine ever brighter.

On a side note, I noticed a couple of errors.

“Alright, let's try this again,” she decaled before letting out a small giggle that caused her iconic golden smile to slowly form again.

Her strikes into the dirt were slower and attempts took longer, but they never lost their convection. Each step was still overflowing with the same tenacity as the last, if not more so, to make up for her tiering body.
