While I would have liked this to go further, I have just one real issue with it.

Shining went over for a minute and half, almost two minutes to be exact,

"almost two minutes" is not exact.
Perhaps something like this: "Shining went for over a minute, a minute and a half, almost two minutes before the stream slowed to a trickle."
Or like this: "Shining's stream just kept going and going, must have been almost two minutes before he was done."

Or something like that.
