Thanks, I've started writing the next chapter already, so it will be published eventually.
That other ship would make sense for Spike is fireproof, but canonically there's no interaction between those two, so it's a little difficult for me to come up with anything involving them. That might be the reason why there's such a lack of that pairing.

I did plan what happens next, but decided to scrap it.
