Twilight Sparkle is a lot of things. She never expected to be both caretaker of a filly and ruler of a nation, but now she is, and she'll have to deal with it as best she can.
This is something I wrote a couple of months ago. I am no longer working on it and probably won't ever work on it again, but I am publishing it anyway and marking it as complete.

I like the build up of the relationships and the world building in the story.
But I knew it wouldn't be finished when I started reading it so I kinda saw it more of a creative look into your story written style :)
