Of course.
That last line by Zeloph was honestly the best.
Great chapter! I can feel the energy coming out from it!

Thanks, NotaPonyPerson decided to split this chapter so can't wait to see the follow up! Really liking the direction all the characters are taking!
10763966
Yep!
The highlight of this chapter are various points. I found it very interesting Ewe's ability, Zeloph become reinvigorated, the last line he said, and Cerise's fear of Midnight being stolen.
Though I think we can all agree that its just a fear and probably would never happen. Even if we took Cerise out of the picture and assume that Beatrix wants to marry/gain a lover, I think we'll need to go down a good number before we end up with Midnight.
In order for him to even have a chance, he'd most likely would've have had to have encountered Beatrix earlier than the other potential candidates, (basically born in her dimension) to even try to make Cerise's fear a possibility.
But what do you all think?
10763985
Yes, while Beatrix values Midnight highly as a friend he's not the type she's likely to settle down with, even without the revelation they're related. But Cerise can't help but feel a little envious/insecure whenever they get along well, unaware how casually Beatrix treats most of her sexual encounters, thus Beatrix would think she isn't well suited to Midnight anyhow.

Fear starts out small, but then it grows. It’ll likely all be in her head and nothing will affect their relationship, but it’s hard to deny the dread.
Ewe’s Onoma is Morpheus, allowing her to shape dreams into familiars for allies or ease foes to sleep. Also allows her to dreamwalk if needed.
As for Zeloph’s newfound prowess in Apollo, well... you’ll see next chapter
Even demi-gods need a good pair of pants!

Morpheus. Interesting. I can't wait for Zelooh's Apollo too!
Yes they do!
Cerise's fear is understandable. But hey! Midnight and Beatrix are just brother and sister. At least there's no Necronomiconic thing in the background to make Beatrix fall for Midnight like what happened between her and Shining!
10763995
Yeah. If only Cerise could see how time and time again guys want to marry her and she says no, because she doesn't plan on settling down. Heck, take Paradise World and she rejected Golden.

Yep, Cerise has mostly lived a very sheltered life, and is spoiled in a sweet-natured way. It's not often she hasn't gotten her way!
10764087
Hopefully things will be clarified for her.
1) Zeloph has finally realised that he practically sold his soul to the Burning King with his own selfish mistakes. The only way to be free of him now is to somehow kill him, but what does it take to kill a demon on this level?
2) He and Beatrix are the reason Abadonna exists. Does he really think defeating, if not killing Beatrix in her name will achieve anything good!?
3) Zeloph has now been restored to full power. Now the odds are even more stacked against Beatrix. That cannot be good.
4) Cerise shouldn't be afraid of having her husband be stolen from her. She's already formed a polyamoric relationship with him and Moonlight. Why can't she accept another woman into her love life? Like I said in a previous comment, Midnight will need to have multiple wives to sate his primal needs. That's the best way I can see their marriage lasting.

1) He's come a long to accepting his descent to villainy. Though there are other pressing issues in finding a way to kill the Burning King. In fact, it might be best no one tries. You'll see what I mean~
2) It's more a personal thing. Hard to realize logic when you're obsessed with getting even with your ex :p
3) Beatrix bested him by herself with untrained Onoma. Zeloph might have new powers, but don't count her too short!
4) I believe it's more than just simple jealousy. Beatrix is a very skilled sorceress that goes on crazy adventures. Lady Ewe is a wise, kind-hearted sage that tries to bring the best out of people. Hell, Moonlight's a fellow peacekeeper that has saved lives! As Sharaz said, Cerise's lived a sheltered life with only assisting in the defeats of Zeloph and Shadow Scythe. I think the problem isn't Midnight leaving her for another. It's that she doesn't find herself worthy of Midnight compared to her friends.

3) Untrained Onoma will be useless in the long run if you don't know how to control it. At best, Beatrix will need a crash course ASAP.
4) Isn't her power enthralling/calming people through the power of dancing? With that kind of magic, I highly doubt she's as weak as she believes.

NotaPonyPerson nailed what I had in mind for Cerise's insecurities, she feels like she's done little to earn what she has, and always worried she isn't very bright considering she came from the highly intelligent Sombra and raised by the also quite sharp Inky Rose. That coupled with being a coddled princess and she often wonders if she's little more than an ornament/burden, despite trying her best. (For instance when they confronted Shadow Scythe in the past Cerise was taken hostage and was ready to die rather than hold the others back.)
You're right that Cerise is actually far more powerful than she thinks, as Sombra infused some of his power into her to protect her before she was even born, plus she had been training in martial arts under Bellatrix for a time, but she still tends to constantly compare herself to her friends and feels left behind due to all they've accomplished, looking down on her own contributions.

Nice conversation we're having here!
