nice work. i really lived the potrayment of Beatrix being a good mother.
And doomsday...kinda made me think of a zombie game I just played

She is, isn’t she?
And that was a glimpse. The actual event, should it come, is likely far worse.
10804314
agreed.
And of course. Just had to think, given in the zombie game, a cultist with a similar goal is behind the undead
The Doomsday Clock. Made in... 1947? Nuclear War and end of Humanity? Love this new interpretation tho.
Love how things are going. Zeloph and Shadow are going to be a tough pair to defeat.
Wonder which Crystal Empire we'll be going to. Because Beatrix's Crystal Empire has her Flurry Heart and Midnight's Crystal Empire has Shining Armor, and it wouldn't feel the same if they went to a vanilla Crystal Empire where that version's Flurry and Shining doesn't know Beatrix or Midnight.
Yeah, Twilight and Cadence's aren't pure alicorns, because let's face it, if they were truly alicorns, then their immortality would make them outlive their friends and family.

-Based on that, yes.
-Potentially, though I doubt neither of them stands a chance against Grogar.
-It's an alternative take on the Crystal Empire, one both Beatrix and Midnight have never been to before.
-They'd still outlive their friends and loved ones, even if their ascension wasn't natural.
10804387
- Yeah
- I meant in general and wait? Didn't Shadow once kill and absorb Grogar?
- Cool, though of course, it being either from their worlds could've been cool. But I think it's a good choice as well bringing a new Crystal Empire to the scene.
- Dang it Season 9 'The Last Problem'! 'Remembrance' was a far better ending!
10804397
-She has, though this one is much more formidable. You'll see next chapter

Oof! Well that changes a lot of things.
1) So Abadonna can exchange items with her mother in the Dream Plane? Maybe she can use it to talk to her further and inform her of the ensuing dilemma.
2) Well, this is one hell of a roadblock. As much as she wants to reunite with her parents, doing so will unleash The Burning King on the Multiverse. This takes me back to my issue with villains who just want to destroy everything without considering what they would do when there's nothing left to destroy. HOWEVER, given how vague prophecies are known to be, it may have only mentioned The Burning King's escape as one single step to bring balance to the Multiverse, and that "The End of Days" was simply assumed to be a total apocalypse (God, I hope this is the case.)
3 Yeesh. An Omnicidal Maniac who will throw both his followers and his enemies into the meat grinder so long as he comes out unscathed!? His subjects should have betrayed him a long time ago!
4) As invincible as Oona believes The Burning King to be, I doubt that there's literally nothing in any Universe that can kill him, or at the very least, knock him senseless. Everyone has a weakness. You just need to know where to strike.
5) He's still alive!? How many more odds must this quest for Abadonna have!?

1) Possibly! If they're lucky, maybe she can pull her through to the library, save everyone the trip :p
2) Correct. The Burning King's release is just the first step to the Omega Prophecy.
3) Not quite. He set himself on fire while proceeding to burn everything he owned. It wasn't a case of 'He threw everyone under the grinder' and more 'I'm taking you all down with me.'
4) Correct. The Burning King isn't immortal... at least, not in the same sense as Beatrix or Shadow Scythe
5) Grogar has some... interesting ties in this version of Equestria.
A lot of Burning King-centric questions this round!

2) That's something I realised watching/reading fiction. A prophecy is neither benevolent nor malevolent. It just determines the best outcome for any major situation for the better, whether happens to act with you or against you.
3) That's just as bad. He simply doesn't care about what he does or how he does it as long as it prolongs his existence.
4) Is that a good thing or a bad thing??😨
5) "Interesting ties"? Is he a singularity across all universes like Unicron from Transformers?
