In a desperate plea to the hands of fate, the Unicorn Starburst Nova casts a spell which summons a warrior of great strength from beyond the world of Equestria. Mysteeri, a Witch with extraordinary strength, is brought forth from a crack in the sky, her powers unlike any magic seen in Equestria's history.
However, with Hungaar getting ever closer and Mysteeri's existence conflicting with this universe, time itself is against them. This time, friendship alone won't save us.

I think people are getting flashbacks to sonic OCs when they see neon colors on an otherwise dark character and go "nope, ain't reading that". It was certainly my first thought.
This has been one of the best read stories I have seen lately. The ending does leave room for a sequel and spinoffs. Extent work.
