Erroneous

I'm a guy, who just happens to think that this cartoon is the greatest thing that has happened to television. Also my favorite characters are Gilda and Fluttershy. Because I'm fucked up.

This fic takes place the year after Boast Busters.
Twilight's parents have retired and moved to a nearby town. However, before Twilight gets to visit her parents for the first time since moving to Ponyville, Trixie shows up, determined to get her revenge for the loss of her title, her career and her home. Blaming Twilight, she forces the librarian into a magic duel. However something goes wrong, and Twilight and Trixie are forced to understand the other better, when they end up switching bodies; and lives...

A different start to most Twilight-Trixie fics. I'm interested in how the emotions will play out.

Nice! But I hope you wouldn't make Trixie weak and apologizing like all other writers love to do. Really. I do agree she's boasted, but other ponies started to disturb her show first. It's pretty rude to shout at performing comic or showman!

So if you going to make Trixie apologize that mane cast must apologize too.

I made some revisions because there were some obvious mistakes.

@Gapaot: She kind of is and she kind of isn't. Inside there is some definite emotional turmoil tearing her apart, which is why she tries so hard to make herself look stronger than she is in the eyes of the characters. You'll see it when she actually has dialogue with Twilight in the next chapter. And trust me, it will take a long damn time for Trixie to actually apologize.

Yeah, I saw that. I just hope it wouldn't be like what I saw in thousands of other fics: Trixie going all mental, or weak, everypony takes care of her and she SUDDENLY understands that she were wrong and goes apologizing and feeling sorry for everypony.

What bothers me most - mane cast rarely even acknowledge that they were wrong too, and any harsh words and actions they doing towards Trixie authors make look justified.

Sorry, but that's sore spot to me. Everypony writes Trixie, Blueblood, Tiara, Silverspoon and Nightmare Moon as two-dimensional characters. And it's wrong.

This is pretty good, and I'd like to see a lot more of it.

For a change of pace compared to the many other fics before, I'd love it if Trixie (first) had advanced a lot magically with all of her training and thus became more of a serious match for Twilight. I'd also love it if (second) the story emphasizes a lot more with Trixie such that, in her heart, she's a showpony and just wants to perform for its own sake. So then she could pull off something big and impressive.

Also what gapaot said.
