Oh Boy, Here I Go Being Chaotic Again
Celestia's sun once again rose, bathing Ponyville and its surrounding area in a warm glow. Many ponies began to stir, whilst many had already been awake, preparing for the day. However there was one pony who unlike many, decided that mornings were a grave sin against ponykind. Her rainbow colored tail hung from a cloud bed as the suns light made itself known. Rainbow Dash groaned and rolled over in a vain attempt at falling back to sleep.
Her alarm clock however had other ideas and decided to wake her up once and for all.
'HONK HONK HONK HONK!' The alarm clock blared. Dash however wasn't expecting this and jumped out of her bed in fright. Upon landing on her flank, she peaked above her bed and noticed that her alarm clock was no longer an alarm clock. It was a clock shaped goose. It looked at her with indignation before flying out her window. Dash simply watched it fly out in confusion before looking out her window. When she did, her jaw dropped.
Outside of Rainbows home was a scene of what could only be described as utter chaos. Ponies who had only just opened their eyes shrieked or whinnied in terror as their homes were flipped upside down or sideways. Many who had woken earlier to start their day also witnessed the chaos spread before them almost as if in a wave. Buffalo no longer did ballet in tutu's, but were now break-dancing in flashy clothes. Birds ran around on large muscular legs as their wings had vanished, and some ponies simply sat in complete confusion as they watched their goods, such as carrots, lettuce and potatoes, grow legs and begin berating them in a strange language nopony could understand.
And high above Ponyville, giggling with maniacal glee was none other than the god of chaos himself, Discord.
"You can't be serious," Dash grumbled, "I should have known he hadn't really reformed. I tried to tell Fluttershy, I even tried to tell the other girls, but did they listen? Nooooooooo. Of course not, because Dash is just being paranoid."
With a glare, Rainbow raced out, all the while dodging floating buildings and random cotton candy clouds that were pouring down more chocolate rain, and oddly enough a few dancing cats before stopping in front of the giggling gleeful god. Before he could take notice of her, she swung a hoof at him, which he deftly dodged anyway before turning to face the furious pegasus.
"Stay still so I can whoop your butt!" Dash yelled as she took up a boxing stance, her forehooves raised in front of her.
"Oh dear, you can't be serious," Discord laughed as he placed a claw to his lip in a look of innocence, "I do believe you fall just short of whooping anyponies butt."
Discord laughed at his joke as he snapped, causing Dash to shrink to slightly smaller than his paw. Giggling he pinched the scruff of her neck and lifter her to face height.
"However will you defeat me now?" he laughed.
Dash was furious now and attempted to punch his face, however with the now drastic size difference, she only managed to make her hoof sore. In fact it seemed Discord was completely un-phased. At this he simply laughed harder and poked at her a few times with his claw.
"Quit it Discord! Me and my friends will put you back in your place!" Dash yelled as she swatted at his claw in much the same way a cat would if somepony were bothering them.
"Oh? However will you do that if I've got all of your friends trapped?" Discord asked, his claw absently stroking his chin as he pondered Dash's predicament before dissolving into nothing, leaving behind a portal that was as black as the abyss. This portal undulated and gave off an unnatural aura and simply floated in mid air. Dash flew in front of it and watched it carefully, however a strange force came forth from it and pulled her in, enveloping her in darkness for what felt to Dash as thought it were an eternity. With a pop, she appeared in a place that just looking at made her brain hurt.
All around her was a world that thrived on making no sense. Chickens were dive-bombing lizards as they swim through oceans of chocolate syrup. On what could be considered ground, walked furless ponies with heads for hooves and hooves for heads. They pecked at the ground much like a chicken, though they were pecking at small moons that littered the ground. The horizon or what Dash would call the background of this place, swirled and writhed as though it was a living breathing thing. And in front of her floated what could only be described as the worlds biggest bounce castle. It towered so high that Dash almost couldn't see the top, and was wide enough to encompass a good portion of the horizon.
"What in the name of Luna?" Dash said to herself as her mind attempted to make sense of what she was seeing. 'Where in the world am I?' Dash thought before looking around for the crafty draconequus.
"Show yourself Discord! Or are you too scared?" she yelled. Dash continued looking around for him before hearing him again. However it was the entrance of the castle that spoke, as it had suddenly taken on the form of Discords face.
"Ah, why hello Rainbow Dash, What do you think of my lovely home? Do you like it? Personally I think it could use a feminine touch." He laughed before a bright flash went off, catching Dash's attention. She looked down to were it had come from and noticed that the furless strange ponies now resembled her and her friends, though they didn't seem to care as they continued pecking at the little moons. At this Dash became furious. She growled at the site before turning her attention back to Discord.
"What do you want you big jerk. Let my friends go!" she yelled, "And where are we anyway!"
Discord simply laughed. "Your dear friends are locked away inside my castle of course. As for where you are, did you not hear me? After all, I did welcome you to my lovely home." He replied, laughing again before vanishing, though the castle entrance retained its shape as his face, and reappearing in front of Dash.
"To rescue your friends and end this hassle, simply enter and brave my castle. Within is a key that you will find, though of this key are five of a kind. Each key to save a friend, though to gain it a game must end. To win each game simply do as you're tasked, and take the key that you've unmasked." Discord said as he floated around her in circles, slowly vanishing into smoke as his voice echoed off into nothing.
With a huff of irritation, Dash walked up to the entrance of the castle, avoiding the strange versions of her and her friends and looked up at the entrance. Before she could fly up, the mouth opened and Discords tongue folded out to form a walkway. With a hint of disgust she stepped onto it. She was even more disgusted when it made an actual squish like a real tongue, saliva and all. Ignoring it, she flew up and through the entrance, which immediately closed behind her. When it did she was suddenly forced to the ground with a loud squeak that almost resembled a rubber duck. Wondering what was going on she looked back at her wings only to notice she was now wearing what seemed to be a suit of foam armor that was painted in random colors. And to her irritation, as she tried to move her wings, she found that the squeak came from the armor. She attempted to remove said armor but was simply rewarded with a loud obnoxious duck squeak.
"Really Discord?" she asked, knowing full well this would irritate her to no end.
"What fun is being a hero of your own story if you don't look the part?" Discord laughed, his voice coming from everywhere and nowhere.
"When I find you, I'm gonna make you eat this armor." Dash grumbled as she made her way into the large main hall.
What she came upon however was something she would normally expect from the irritating chaos god. There was a single chandelier in the middle of the floor that looked as though it hung toward the ceiling. In place of each candle was a banana, each peeled to make the chandelier look almost ornate. Instead of a flame however, was Princess Celestia's head, her mane was doing what a flame normally would, and was casting an eerie glow across the floor. And that was yet another thing that caught her attention. The entire floor was a mosaic of her face, made of millions of tiny versions of her face in different silly expressions. The ceiling was of a similar make, only it was nothing but figures of Discord pointing down at the floor and laughing.
Ahead of Dash was two curved staircases that seemed to be made of gelatin, that led up to a large door that oddly enough seemed quite normal. On all of the walls were hung paintings of Discord in various states of dress, some laughing at Dash, some seemed to be doing random things, such as one that was in the process of painting one of the other paintings.
To Dash's left and right were two doors that were more up Discords alley, as they were looked like they were made of graham crackers.
Dash grew slightly more irritated at the fact that Discord seemed to be mocking her. In a moment of anger, Dash blew a raspberry at the paintings before deciding to take the main door as knowing Discord, the other doors would have a trap of some sort. Through the door she found a long hallway lit with torches that looked as though it would never end. Rolling her eye's Dash moved forward, noticing many doors a bit ways down the hall. Curious she headed for them. However after about a minute of walking down the hallway, it seemed as though she wasn't making any headway.
She took another step and the floor opened up beneath her. Though as a Pegasus her first instinct was to open her wings, however due to the armor that had pinned her wings to her back, that would not happen. And Rainbow Dash fell into the inky darkness, the floor closing behind her.

I know it's a bit old now, but I really hope there's still more to this story that will come out, I really enjoy what's here and want to see more kind of ideas you have in mind like the mosaic of Dash being laughed at by Discord~

Yeah I apologize for the oldness haha. Ive had a request fic ive been working on for a while, and i took a year break from writing while I moved to Washington. Im finally getting time to write again, so Ill probably be back to this one sometime soon.

I've thought about it tbh lol. But I'm currently juggling four stories right now, three of which I'm actively working on and one I'm working on the side. It's a little hectic I know, But I have adhd and I'm prone to getting bored easy, so It's nice to be able to go from one story to another and spend an afternoon writing without feeling like I'm wasting time.
