This is a side project of mine. It will contain seven chapters or short stories total. I usually stay away from horror, but that is due to most of it these days being gore.
Your tales so far are much more in 'The Twilight Zone'.

Is it so bad to hate miserable endings? I don't stomach gore that well, especially if it is overdone. When it is subtle (blood here, cut there) it can carry a far more impactful effect. Usually ponies (and humans) overdo gore to the point where it loses its true purpose in writing; to provide an ominous back drop for the plot. Gore is never meant to be a focus more a writer's device to set the stage. I prefer a bit of finese or tact when handling gore in my fics. You will see a gore tag but in the future but know that it will be handled delicately.

I am astounded at all the encouragement from the comments, for those curious I wrote the description to the next short story featuring the beloved Rarity. I am currently in the process of writing it now. <3 /)(\
Just to clarify. I am a brony, yeah, yeah shocking I know. I absolutely love and adore the mane 7 and their personalities. The reason I am writing these short...twisted stories about them stems from that love. Too many fanfic writers while they may write wonderfully dark tales, lose a key component in their writing. A horror story, a grimdark, is to capture the imagination AFTER a tale has been told. I want to create stories that will have you comptemplating the truly twisted nature of them long after they have been read, not just during.
For all those who understand the true soul of nightmare fuel, my readers, I give you my warmest brohoo-....wait I seem to still have residual aftermaths of my current work in progress on my hooves, let me just wash that off....

Making Rarity Proud is now published, After the plot changed 3 times, I finally found the most unsettling outcome i could without being too...obvious. I seriously rewrote this 5 times. I had to give all my readers my very best. The description has been edited as well be sure to read it before the story. To please Rarity, Opal will do anything it seems...what a shame.

*SPOILERS* well i mean...sweetie bell was dead sitting at the receptionist counter, manipulated by rarity the entire time...and she was stitched up...what exactly do you think the MC's corpse would end up as? Like i said I wanted the reader to have their imagination run wild AFTER the story..not during.

Story Six: Atonement
My name was Wendy Seabreeze. For twenty three years, I had called her mom. My parents had gone to a party in tears. That same night an earth pony with pink fur and a outlandishly fluffy tail and mane had told me they were not coming home. "Oh my, your parents were pathetic! If only they had jumped sooner, they might have survived that trip mine. Oh well. Bye!"
I had been taken to the orphanage. It was run by a lilac unicorn. She had greeted me upon arrival with a warm hug and a gentle voice. "You are not alone, welcome to your new home sweetie."
I'm still not sure what it was about her but for some reason I felt relaxed and safe. I can vaguely recall her horn glowing a soft sea green as my mind slowly went blank and I replied. "thank you mommy."
For twenty three years, I had called her mom. Now I assist her at her side in handling those at the orphanage and act as a teacher. I had grown accustomed to assisting mom in her teachings. Mom herself acts as the headmistress, uses her magic to make repairs to the run down building, and is quite adept at healing magic when a young filly hurts herself. Life was absolutely perfect...or so I thought. In this world however, nothing was as it seemed.
