just the concept alone makes me chuckle

You’d think that would make Tuesday’s easier on them but at this point it seems extremely dubious that the presence of an actual evil god or demon lord would actually deter any of the monsters that show up even if they could sense his presence. I mean you’d think some of them would start catching on to the fact that the place has been attacked every week for multiple years and like 9/10 things that do never leave. At the very least the next demon attack will likely be the last when they find out about the top tier archdemon that is not amused with their shit.

One thing that seems out of place though is how hes just... okay with it. That itself isn't bad, its why. Namely because there seems to be no reason to be, he has no real connection to equestria and he has his entire life back on earth. Plus with the power of Mephisto he could conceivably force the issue with the mystery being or eventually find a way home, but instead seems okay with basically losing everything which doesn't make sense.
