Yikes, this is a pretty powerful bit of writing. Trixie with cancer is really sad when you think about it.

By the way, 'white round things'? Clamping her jaw closed? What, are they forcing medication down her throat? Normally they use injections on uncooperative patients, mainly because that kind of treatment can be risky and cause injury both to the doctor and to the patient.

Other than that though, I loved it!

Good point, I did add "they stuck pine needles in my arms", but I couldn't imagine pony doctors giving injections, no matter how hard I tried. Also, Trixie tends to exaggerate.
