I stumbled accross this when I was looking for information about Dizzy Twister - if I ever publish the fic I am working on, I plan on using her as one of the main supporting characters. I found it enjoyable enough and easy to read, however I do think the characterization could use some expanding. Dizzy herself seems rather one-dimentional, and her main characteristic seems to be her infatuation with Colin. I do recognize that you tried to give her some other characteristics: she seems to be challenging her cutie mark by deciding to be a mail-pony rather than a weather pony, and I do see her adventurousness in that she wants to see the world, rather than settle for factory work. These are other areas of her personality that you may want to explore a little more. Colin himself is too much of a flawless self-insertion and could also use some fleshing-out. I should have liked to hear how he came to work for the Princess, for example, as it would have provided some more insight into his personality. I did enjoy the story and will be on the look out for more. Keep writing!

192628 Thank you for taking the time to read and give such a detailed reply to my story, however there are a few things you should know. Number one, while I very much enjoy it when my work is read and enjoyed by others, my main motivation for writing is that I write for me first, because I want to. I have millions of stories in my head, but I'm very forgetful, so sometimes I turn some into stories so I remember them. Also on that, I only write when I feel it, I've started writing the next chapter but stopped for now because I'm not in the mood. Secondly, this story, while called "Dizzy Twister" and being mostly based around her, it has actually become sort of a continuation of another long term series I am working on based around the character Colin. Colin is actually just visiting the world of Equestria for now as some personal enjoyment. He has high magical powers and can use the magic to do anything his mind wants to accomplish. Upon coming to Equestria, he took the form of an Alicorn to cover his powerful abilities with magic and to satisfy his want to fly. He is a really really overpowered character overall, in a pretty much unfair way, but that goes back to the fact of me writing for me. He is what I would like to be and reflects me in name. He is immortal and this series is simply a continuation of his story into Equestira but told mostly from the point of view of Dizzy. He has actually been there for a while, in Chapter 2, he is the doctor that Dizzy talks to, but she doesn't know it. He will show up again in Dizzy's past in Chapter 4.5 which will not be posted here. Number three, I am going to expand Dizzy's character, I'm planning to do some of this through another flashback like Chapter 2 was, but this will happen in Chapter 4.5 and I may do it again. She does become a deeper character with problems of her past, and *SPOILER* I plan to make it so that Colin shows up in her life changing events of history, like in Chapter 2 and will again in Chapter 4.5. Soon he will save her from something big going on in her life now, and she will see that he is what will keep her life together. *END SPOILER* Now, not all of that might happen, it can change if I just feel like it. Now, as for Dizzy refuting her cutie mark, that is actually show related. Dizzy was in the Feeling Pinkie Keen episode in Season 1 when Derpy dropped the heavy items on Twilight's head. When you see Derpy and the mail boss in the sky, Dizzy is in fact one of the ponies pulling the truck itself, and I have not seen any other actual occupation for her.
That all said and done, I am changing some things, I have become used to playing my pony OC and using the name. In the stories so far, Colin is always called Colin, however his pony name is actually Movie Pro. So far in chapter 5 and probably for anything else new, I will refer to him as Movie or Movie Pro instead of Colin. If you need a story related reason as to why, its because Colin is enjoying his stay in Ponyville enough that he wants to embrace it more and would like to be called by his pony name instead of Colin.

If you ever need any info on Dizzy, I got the hookup, I have a Dizzy plush, and well over 30 fan drawings of Dizzy have been made because of me from a variety of different people. You won't find most of them online, but I have had more pictures of Dizzy created because of me than there are pics of her not thanks to me. That means that if you took all the pics drawn of Dizzy that were not made for or because of me, there wouldn't be as many pics of Dizzy compared to the number that were made for me. errr that still sounds confusing....basically most of the drawn Dizzy Twister pics ever created were because of me, but not all are easily findable online, but I have them all. I also know every episode she has been in. I love her because of how beautiful she is.
None the less, sorry if it seemed like I was ranting (I should actually be doing a college essay right now but procrastinated by writing this) But glad you read it and I hope you keep reading, I'm always happy to answer questions or discuss anything so just ask anytime. Chapter 5 has already been started, the first and probably the most important scene is already done. I have skipped Chapter 4.5 atm and will go back to it when I feel like it, but know that 4.5 will not be on here. 4.5 will actually be right when chapter 4 ends, so its what Dizzy and Colin (Movie) do that night, then the ending of it is the dream Dizzy has that night of her past. Chapter 5 begins right where Chapter 4.5 ends, when Dizzy awakes from the dream. So basically, 4.5 is a clopfic, then the end scene is *SPOILER* the end scene of 4.5 will actually become a gore scene but it will be important in Dizzy's past and it is where Movie (Colin) will show up in her past again. *END SPOILER*. Chapter 5 will resume when Dizzy wakes and will be on here.
