Dizzy Twister: The Alicorn

Written by: Colin Stewart -- Specopsfox

This is a fan made fanfic. It is a clean story appropriate for all ages. It is hopefully the first in a series. Dizzy Twister is a background pony from the show My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic, Movie Pro, or Colin, is a character of my own design.

Dizzy Twister fell on her couch with a sigh. She covered her face with one hoof and let the other dangle off to the side. It was 9 pm, three hours later than the time she usually got home.

What a day! She thought to herself. As a mail mare, she did tons of work for not enough pay. That day she and another pony had to pull around the heavy delivery truck all around Equestria to deliver random junk. Normally this wasn’t TOO bad, but today something had gone wrong. Not only did she have to pull the heavy truck that had been filled with things like an anvil and a piano, but she also had to help CLEAN UP some of that heavy stuff! That derpy pony had gone and dropped a bunch of packages, heavy stuff too, and she had to help clean up and put the stuff away!

“Ugh!” She grunted as she got up and headed into the shower. It was nice to have the nice warm water running through her mane and down her four legged body. She hoped that the water would take away her stress with it down the drain. She knew it wouldn’t actually do that but a girl can dream can’t she?

After stepping out of the shower and drying off, she paused in front of the mirror, admiring herself. She was quite a cute pegasus pony, and she knew it. Looking herself over, her peach like colored body, her amazing three twisters cutie mark, and her hair. Yes her hair is mainly what set this pony apart from the rest. Her mane and tail were mostly a sort of pinkish color, then they both had a bit of a sort of pink cream color in them too. Difference was, instead of running the length of her hair and tail, the pink cream in her tail was like a stripe, a big one, right through the middle of her tail. So both ends were pinkish, but the middle pink cream. As for her mane, most of it was that same pinkish color, but the bottom ⅕ or so was pink cream. Any other pony who had multiple color in their hair, it went lengthwise along the rest of their hair, like with Rainbow Dash, she has many color in her hair, but they all go from one end of her hair to the other, not just in the middle.

Why am I still alone? I know I am beautiful, so why has nopony even made a move on me? Dizzy sadly wondered while still looking at her figure. There’s not enough colts in this town, she sighed and went to bed, head hung low.

Dizzy’s alarm went off followed by a thud. Dizzy picked her head up off the floor and looked around, wondering why her bed was now above her. She hit the alarm off as the time turned to 6:01 am. She had forgotten to turn it off last night she had come in so late. What pony wakes up at 6am on a Sunday? Stupid alarm, it should know that nopony wakes up this early on a Sunday! Especially not the mail mare who wants to enjoy her one day off! She crawled back into bed, but she knew she wouldn’t be able to sleep so she just lay there, staring at her clock, watching each minute pass by.

When she finally got out of bed it was 11 am. She opened a window in her kitchen, letting in a bright warmth flow onto her fur. Looking out she saw all sorts of ponies going about their business, frolicking in the sun or socializing with one another. It was a beautiful day and she planned to be a part of it.
Before she could pour some cereal there was a knock at the door. She opened the door to see her friend, Grape Seed. Grape was a green pony with red hair, she had been pulling the truck with Dizzy the day before.

“Hey Dizzy, where have you been all morning?” Grape asked with a smile on her face.

“Hi Grape. I’ve been trying to sleep, woke up at 6 this morning when my alarm went off…” Dizzy groaned.

“Oh that sucks, on your day off too!”

Dizzy responded only by slightly lifting her eyes.

“Well, I’m here to make it better. Come on, lets go out!”

“Ok but I haven’t eaten breakfast yet, do you want to come inside for a minute?” Dizzy stepped aside.

“Breakfast? Its basically lunch time silly! Come on, lets get something to eat together, I know of a new place that just opened, it will be my treat for your day off!”

“Oh no its ok, you don’t have to do that…” Dizzy blushed at her friends generosity.

“But I want too, now come on!”

Dizzy smiled knowing she really was going to take advantage of today and its glory. She followed Grape out and locked up her home.

As they headed down the street, Dizzy looked around, so many ponies were out enjoying the day, the joyous mood in the air actually rubbed off a bit on Dizzy as she felt happier. By the time they got to the restaurant, Dizzy no longer felt the worries of her job, her bills or anything, she was going to enjoy this day worry free!

After working their way through the packed tables and ponies, the two made it up to the front door where a colt waiter was standing behind a podium.

“Table for two please, outside preferably.” Grape said.

“I’m sorry miss, however all our tables inside and out are full. Its about a 30 minute wait for an inside table, one hour for one outside.” Was the waiter’s static response.

Dizzy didn’t want to have to wait, she was hungry and waiting would be something tedious and boring, the type of thing she would loathe to have happen on this day.

Grape looked at her, “So what do you want to do?”

“I don’t want to wait. Maybe we can go somewhere else.”

“Excuse me but if you don’t want to wait may I make a suggestion?” The waiter politely interjected. Both Dizzy and Grape look at the waiter wondering what suggestion he might have. “You two could always sit at the bar inside. It won’t be as private, but you can be seated right away.”

Dizzy’s mood brightened back up. “Thank you sir that will be fine.”

“Right this way,” he went inside and led the two girls to a bar with some strange bar stools. The bar had several other ponies sitting at it already. They were placed at the two chairs on the end.

The two thanked the colt as he bowed and left. When Dizzy go up in the chair, it was hard to keep her balance sitting on her hind legs, mostly because there wasnt much room for her forelegs to go in order to stop her from falling forward. This must be why nopony wants to sit here. But again, she would not allow anything to even slightly mess with her day off, so she just put her hooves up on the bar itself, not caring if she looked silly.

Grape on her left was having almost as much trouble, and upon seeing what Dizzy had done, simply copied her. The two girls laughed a bit at how silly they looked. Dizzy turned to her right to see another pony sitting there. It was a unicorn, a male. She looked him over, starting from the top. He had green and blue hair, set in a sort of spiked, messy manner. It looked good on the black unicorn though, better than you would expect. She wondered what this unicorn had as his cutie mark. Her eyes drifted downward past his wings to his flank.

Then she stopped. Wings? And a horn? She must have been mistake, she must not have seen one or the other. She looked up and sure enough, this pony had both a horn AND wings. He was an alicorn! Dizzy though the only alicorns were Princess Celesta and Princess Luna! Dizzy was so caught up in thought, she didn’t realize that the pony she was staring at had noticed and looked over at her.

“Hi” He said

Dizzy snapped back into reality. “Oh uh hi… Sorry I didn’t mean to stare, its just… well you’re an alicorn aren’t you?” She stuttered.

“I sure am. Name is Movie Pro, but you can call me Colin, its my middle name.” He said with a friendly smile. He held out his hoof, which before he had on the counter just like Dizzy.

Dizzy took his hoof and shook it. “I’m Dizzy Twister. Dizzy works fine.” She held his hoof for a second until a bartender appeared.

“Hi gals, what can I get you?” The young pony asked.
“I think I will have the flower and carrot salad with a side of hay. How about you Dizzy?”

“Uh same thing” Dizzy said, not even knowing what she had actually ordered. She turned back to Colin.

Grape noticed what was going on and silently wished her friend luck, she knew Dizzy had been trying to find the right guy for some time. Grape took her menu and also grabbed Dizzy’s unopened menu from the bar and gave them both to the waitress barpony.

“So uh...I hope you dont mind me asking, but how exactly are you an alicorn?” Dizzy asked, still stunned by both shock and curiosity.

“I don’t mind at all. Actually, I’m not originally from Equestria, I’m from somewhere else farther away. Plus that and I’m also the Princess’s right hoof pony. I am not too often seen with her but I carry out all sorts of duties and serve as her bodyguard full time.” Colin answered proudly but not in a boastful way, more matter of fact.

Dizzy considered this for a minute in awe. The Princess’s right hoof pony, and full time bodyguard...and an alicorn...what is he doing here in Ponyville? She though to herself.

“So, are you from Ponyville?” He asked trying to break the moment of silence caused by Dizzy’s thinking.

“Oh yes, I was born and raised here in Ponyville. It’s a very nice place to live. Ive been around Equestria enough to know that Ponyville is much more friendly than some places.” Dizzy said with a roll of her eyes as she turned back to the counter to take a drink of the water that was now sitting there.

Colin now turned forward too, but still looked over to Dizzy while she drank. Secretly he found her to be very cute, much prettier than the princess, she just had a certain something that made her so attractive to him.

“So, are you like a tourist or something? How have you been all over Equestria?” Colin used his magic to take a bite from his daffodil and daisy sandwich after finishing his question.

“Well I’m a mail mare, so I have to deliver packages all over Equestria to different ponies.” Dizzy replied, her interest now shifted back to Colin instead of her drink. He took another bite of his sandwich as she continued, “So, as an alicorn and the Princess’s right hoof pony, what brings you to Ponyville?”

“A few things actually. Officially im here to mentor Twilight Sparkle. I’ve heard she’s had some trouble controlling her magic, like during winter wrap up when she couldn’t stop her own spell.”

“Oh…” Dizzy sighed, slightly down hardened upon hearing that he was here for that new special unicorn pony, Twilight. Dizzy liked her, but sometimes she was just...a little strange. But now, Dizzy envied the though that Twilight will be the one to get to know this pony better.

“But I’m really here because I’m bored. There isn’t much for me to do so I came to Ponyville to do some normal stuff, get a job, a home, settle down you know? Besides, if the Princess is ever in trouble I will immediately know it and be able to teleport to her for protection. But I have never needed to protect her from anything yet.”

Dizzy’s heart lit back up, he was here for himself, for his own reasons! To settle down! Sounds like a good guy! The Twilight thing is just an ‘official’ business, not his actual business! She hoped she might have a chance with this alicorn.

“So since you’re new here, why don’t I show you around town a bit?” Dizzy suggested, trying not to sound desperate.

“Really? That would be great! Thank you so much! I will meet you outside once you’re done eating.” Colin said with real enthusiasm.

Dizzy then noticed that her food was now being laid out in front of her, and she remembered how hungry she was. She also noticed that Colin was done eating and had even paid while talking.

“Oh, alright then I suppose I will see you then.” Dizzy said trying to sound enthusiastic, but secretly dreading that he would not return.

Dizzy tuned back to her food and began to eat.

“Soooo….?”

Dizzy nearly jumped, she had completely forgotten that Grape was still with her.

“Oh sorry I wasn’t paying attention.” Dizzy apologized.

“Oh was he that impressive? Tell me what happened!” She said excitedly.

So as Dizzy retold Colin’s story to Grape, Colin went off to the library where Twilight was staying.

*knock knock*

“Coming!” came a male voice from inside.

The door opened and Spike was standing there.

“Uh, hi can I help you?”

“Hi I’m Movie Pro, im here to help train Twilight in magic.” Colin stated.

“Oh right! Sorry she’s actually not here right now, she up in Cloudsdale to see Rainbow Dash in the best young fliers competition!”

Thats right, Colin thought, the princess was going to that too. “Well then, I suppose I will come back another time. Would you let her know I stopped by?”

“Sure thing, I’ll just get back to cleaning then…”

Colin looked inside to see a large pile of books, Spike had only made a dent in the clutter.

“Here, let me handle it.” Colin then used his magic to quickly put every book back on the shelf in alphabetical order.

“Hey thanks a ton!” Spike exclaimed, extremely happy now that he didn’t have to do the work.

“No problem. Just let her know I stopped by.” And with that Colin took his leave back to the restaurant.

Dizzy and Grape finished their meals and headed outside, laughing with each other as only good friends do. Outside, Colin was standing there waiting for Dizzy. Dizzy turned to Grape with a giddy smile on her face.

“Hey so I’m gonna go with Colin for now. I’ll catch up with you later!”

“He he! Ok sounds good! I’ll see you later then!” Grape watched her friend walk over to Colin before flying off. Colin waved to her as she left, Grape waved back and was gone.

Colin looked back to the still beautiful Dizzy. “After you.” he said and stepped aside.

Dizzy blushed and spread her wings. She took off into the sky. Colin unfurled his wings which were about twice the size of Dizzy’s. He lifted off with ease and joined her in the sky.

-----------------

“And here is Sugarcube corner, the local sweet shop. Its owned by Mr. and Mrs. Cake. Pinkie Pie lives there too on top of the shop.” Dizzy said, still giving Colin a tour of Ponyville. The two had spent a lot of time talking instead of really taking a tour. It was about 6 pm now.

“Now we are at the end of our tour, because we are now at the Everfree Forrest. Its rather dangerous in there I’ve heard. Personally I’ve never had to go in so I don’t actually know.” concluded Dizzy.

“Well thank you very much for spending your whole day giving me a tour of the town. It was really nice of you!”

Dizzy blushed for what was probably the 30th time that day, “Oh it was nothing at all.”

“Please, allow me to treat you to dinner, its the least I can do!”

“Ok sounds fair!” Dizzy was so excited she had found this wonderful pony! He was perfect, he is kind, handsome, caring, polite, powerful and on top of it all he is an alicorn! Dizzy was so happy, this day had been the best day ever, and it wasn’t even over yet!

As the two ponies were flying over to a restaurant, there was a loud bang. Up in the sky, a rainbow in a circle spread overhead. It was none other than Rainbow Dash’s Sonic Rainboom! It was a beautiful sight for the two of them to enjoy together. As every vivid color of the rainbow soared overhead, both Dizzy and Colin couldn’t help but feel an intense amount of joy. The two of them simply hovered there and watched, even for a few moments after it was gone before continuing to the restaurant.

--------------------

Dizzy sucked on her straw, drinking some of the delicious shake that Colin got for the two of them at Sugarcube Corner. The two sat looking at each other, sipping on the same shake. And while this image may seem cliche and cheesy, it is still powerful and accurate. A loud slurping sound was heard as the pair reached the bottom of the shake. It was now late, nearly 9pm, but Dizzy didn’t know that, nor did she even care! Colin on the other hand, knew what time it was and wanted to be considerate of Dizzy’s work schedule, after all, she had to work tomorrow.

“I guess I should be getting you home now, its getting late.”

“Oh,” Dizzy said noticing the night sky as if for the first time, “I suppose it is. Wow the day just flew by!”

“I know I had a great time with you. Now come on, where do you live?”

“Follow me.” Dizzy took off in direction of her home. Once there she slowly unlocked the door but stayed on the porch instead of opening it, leaving just the two ponies standing there in front of Dizzy’s house.

“Well, I had a great time tonight! Maybe we could get together again sometime?” Colin asked, almost timidly thought Dizzy.
“Me too, and I would love to do something again…”

Dizzy leaned in, her wings expanded as she did, and she kissed Colin. Colin’s wings immediately shot out. They stood there lip locked for a moment, until Dizzy broke it and backed away slowly.

“Goodnight” She said and went inside.

--------------

After closing the door behind her Dizzy leaned against it, a huge grin on her face and a racing in her heart. She was in love.

Dizzy Twister: A lunchbox and a Cutie Mark (a prequel to Dizzy Twister: The Alicorn)

Written by: Colin Stewart -- Specopsfox

This is a fan made fanfic. It is a clean story appropriate for all ages. Dizzy Twister, Grape Seed and Derpy Hooves (Ditzy Doo) are all background ponies from the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Any other ponies mentioned like Mrs. Chalk are fictional characters created only for this story.

Dizzy Twister grabbed her lunchbox where a meal of a daisy sandwich, some water and two of her mother’s delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies would be found inside later that day. The young little filly cheerfully received a kiss on the head by her mother and went off to school with her father. Because Dizzy was still just a filly still ‘learning to fly’, her parents didn’t want her flying all the way up to Cloudsdale for flight school on her own. This is still so stupid and embarrassing, Dizzy told herself as she climbed on her dads back. She could fly fine, better than most of her class actually, but still her parents insisted, declaring that because they live in Ponyville instead of Cloudsdale, the flight was too long and difficult. Still, there was nothing she could do but keep her teeth clenched around her lunch as her father flew her to class.

Once at Cloudsdale, Dizzy was greeted by the usual snickers and odd looks that one gets from being the only pony in the probably the entire school who doesn’t fly herself to class. She got the embarrassing banter as she lifted off her father into the air, finally free to fly herself.

“Have a good day at school sweetie!” Her father said before leaving to work at the weather factory.

Grape Seed, one of Dizzy’s best friends was waiting outside the front steps for her like always. The two fillies, still both blank flanks, sat together waiting for their other best friend in their trio, Rainbow Dash. Dash was almost always late, but the pair always waited for her until class started. Besides they had told Dash to come early today so they could have their group review of who had the best weekend, and Dash had never missed that!

“Oh hey is that a new lunchbox?” Grape asked admiring the shiny colors and pretty designs.

“Why yes it is! My dad got it for me as a special present! He just got promoted at the weather factory, now he’s making the tornadoes!” Dizzy explained with pride.

“Wow thats really cool! My dad helps make the rainbows, I bet he did the color for your awesome lunchbox!”

“Maybe! You know who is going to think this is totally awesome?”

“Who?”

“Rainbow Dash! Its just like her mane!”

“Yeah you’re right! Hmm speaking of Dash, it looks like she’s going to be late again. She’s never missed weekend review before. Maybe she’s sick. Oh well, come on, we better get to class.” Grape groaned as she headed inside leaving the empty sky behind her.

Dizzy’s mood sank a bit too, the realization that she now had to go learn about flying while inside a small classroom with chairs instead of free form practice.

--------

School today was as boring as ever, and with still no sign of Rainbow Dash the class was exceedingly droll and boring. Well, at least until Mrs. Chalk made an announcement.

“Now class, this week we will be continuing on with our lesson of learning and experiencing possible careers for pegasus ponies!”

Dizzy’s face and spirit lit up at this. Last week they were doing the same thing and they had gone to see how the mail system in equestria worked. They actually got to deliver an actual package with her class. From that day Dizzy knew she was going to be a mail mare. She loved the thought of flying all over equestria on her own, delivering goods to all sorts of ponies in all sorts of places! She knew they wouldn’t be going back to the post office, but wherever they were going to do HAD to be better than here!

“Now,” Mrs. Chalk continued, “Can anypony tell me what very important job that effects all of Equestria can only be done by Pegasus ponies?”

A gray hoof immediately shot up.

Mrs. Chalk called on that know-it-all pegasus, “Yes Ditzy Doo?”

“The making of the weather!” The blond pony said with a big grin.

“Yes, that’s correct Ditzy! Thank you!”

Ditzy’s grin grew even bigger. She was a smarty pants that answered almost every question and always paid attention. Sometimes Dizzy wished Ditzy wasn’t so smart, or such an excellent flier! In fact, Ditzy and Rainbow Dash were the only two fliers in the class who were faster and more agile than Dizzy. Dizzy had some powerful wings, but still that dumb Ditzy was so coordinated, she could be going fast yet make a super sharp turn! Dizzy had to slow down a bit to turn or else she might crash! If Ditzy was as good as she was, Dizzy would be the second best in class! Still, no point in wasting for something that won’t happen Dizzy told herself returning her attention back to the teacher who had kept moving.

“...and just like how Princess Celestia must raise the sun and the moon for all of us ponies, we pegasus ponies must help change the seasons for everypony! They depend on us to live as much as we depend on the Princess for light! Now, can anypony tell me where the largest weather factory in all of Equestria is located?”

Ditzy’s hoof shot up again, but thankfully she wasn’t called on.

“Let’s give some other pony a chance ok Ditzy? I’m sure you know it but lets see if anypony else does too!” Mrs. Chalk surveyed the room for the pony who was trying the hardest to avoid being picked. She found one, the quiet but skilled flier who Mrs. Chalk knew had a lot of potential. The pony sat in the back by the window, her yellow fur and fiery mane brightening the corner as the sun hit her body.

“Spitfire? Do you know where the largest weather factory in all of Equestria is?”

While quiet, Spitfire was not a shy pony. As everyone in the room turned to look at her she didn’t cower or get nervous.

“The largest weather factory is right here in Cloudsdale Mrs. Chalk.” Spitfire carelessly and calmly replied in her cool voice.

Mrs. Chalk smiled, “Very good, thats exactly right! Now, I’m sure all of you know about the Factory here, in fact, more than half of all of the adult pegasus's that live in Cloudsdale work in the factory! Raise your hoof if you have a parent that works in that factory.”

Dizzy put her hoof in the air, as did Grape and most of her other classmates. Ditzy didn’t have her hoof up, she had never actually even been to the weather factory even though literally everybody else had at least visited it by her age. Spitfire didn’t raise her hoof either. Dizzy didn’t know what Spitfire’s parents did, she didn’t care enough to ask, all Dizzy cared about right now was how she had her hoof up and Spitfire didn’t.

“See thats most the class!” Mrs. Chalk chimed in, cheerful her class poll had successfully proven her point. “Now today we have a very special treat for you all…” She paused for dramatic effect and to be sure she had everypony’s attention, “We’re going to go to the weather factory here in Cloudsdale and learn what its like to be a weather making pony!”

The class cheered, they knew it would be fun. Dizzy was especially excited, she would get to surprise her daddy at work! Even though she knew she would be a mail mare and not work in the factory, she was excited to see what her dad does!

Mrs. Chalk was now trying to control the class, “My little ponies! Please calm down and listen for a moment!” She shouted over the roar of excited conversations and shuffling of bags. “Now be sure to bring all your items and your lunches, we will be eating in the factory just like the real workers!”

In a rush of ponies with clamor and excitement, they all struggled out the door and off to the factory.

--------

“Rainbow Dash!” Mrs. Chalk scolded the playful pegasus.

On the way to the factory, the class had run into Rainbow Dash, she had be ditching class and had been spending the whole day hanging out with Gilda the griffon. Dizzy didn’t know what Gilda was at the time, nor did she know her name was Gilda, but so there is no confusion for you the reader, know that it is Gilda.

Upon hearing Mrs. Chalk’s piercing voice, the two fliers bugged out and vanished. Mrs. Chalk, Dizzy, Grape, Rainbow Dash and every other pony in class knew Dash would be spending some time in detention for that.

Trying to recompose herself Mrs. Chalk continued on beckoning to the little fillies. Dizzy moved in close to Grape so they could talk about Dash without Mrs. Chalk hearing.

“Who the heck was that with Dash?” Dizzy whispered into Grape’s ear hoping it she had an answer.

“WHAT the heck was that with Dash?” Grape replied, just a frazzled.

“So what, has Rainbow Dash just ditched us? She knew today was the weekend review!” Dizzy was very upset, more than she thought she would have been.

“I guess so. We’ve been doing weekend review EVERY Monday for 2 years now! How could she have forgotten? She couldn’t have! Not only did she ditch school, she ditched us!”

“Some best friend she is! I can’t believe Rainbow Dash could be such a jerk!”

Grape considered for a second. Like she herself had said, Rainbow couldn’t have forgotten, and it had been a tradition running 2 years! Thats when she figured out the truth, “Maybe its not Rainbow Dash!”

“Huh?” Dizzy was confused, “It was totally Rainbow Dash! Blue fur, rainbow hair, Mrs. Chalk yelling ‘Rainbow Dash!!’, it was totally Dash!”
“No no no, I mean maybe its not Rainbow Dash’s fault! Maybe that thing she was with made her ditch! Rainbow wouldn’t just leave us without reason! I bet that thing is a friends stealing, class ditching meanie pants!”

“Yeah!” Agreed Dizzy.

Just as the two were preparing to banter and insult the griffon, the class arrived at the factory.

--------

“Hi daddy!”

Grape waved to her father who paused to wave back before continuing to stir a pool of rainbows.

“This place is really cool huh Dizzy?”

“Yeah, its pretty cool. I’m still gonna be a mail mare though, I wanna see all of Equestria! I also wanna see my dad!” She looked around some more, slightly discouraged. They had toured most the factory and it was now lunchtime and she hadn’t seen her father yet!

“Alright everypony, pic a table to sit down and eat at!” Mrs. Chalk called out over the roar of machinery mixed with the shrills of the excited kids.

Every pony found some spot near something that they though looked cool, so they could eat while watching stuff happen. The only pony who sat away from the machines was Ditzy Doo. In fact, she was almost afraid of the factory, it wasn’t her type of place. The way Ditzy saw it, this factory was for pegasus ponies who weren’t as smart as she was, still she had to admit it seemed like better work than a mail mare. It paid more to work here, Ditzy knew that much, still she didn’t plan to do either so she just sat and ate in peace.

Dizzy packed up her lunchbox while finishing munching on one of her mother’s homemade cookies. She took the box in her mouth so her father would be able to see her easier in case she didn’t find him.

As the door to the next room opened, the class felt a light but noticeable breeze push out of the room they were entering.

“Feel that wind class? This room is where they make the wind in storms and where they make tornadoes!” Mrs. Chalk said trying to educate the young minds while they were open.

“Now, tornadoes are very powerful and can cause lots of damage, that’s why there is only one tornado wind tunnel! Monitoring the wind tunnel is a very important job! If something goes wrong, they have to be able to instantly fix it or a mini tornado, a twister, could get loose!” Mrs. Chalk explained while also unknowingly but obviously foreshadowing.

“Hey this is were my dad works! He watches the wind tunnel! He has the important job!” Dizzy bounced up and down with joy that her father was so important.

She set down her lunchbox and ran over to where the operator controls were. Right next to them was a huge like tunnel thing with wind spinning around in it extremely fast. As she reached the control station, she felt the wind breeze become more of a gust. When she looked up at the controller she frowned, it wasn’t her father.

“Hey there!” He said in a friendly tone, “Aren’t you a cute little filly! Wondering how the wind tunnel works huh? It is pretty int”

“Wheres my dad?” Dizzy cut him off mid word, she wanted to know where her father was, why he wasn’t here.

“Hey there Diz-ball! What are you doing here?” Came the familiar voice of her father from behind.

“Daddy!” She ran up and hugged him. “Hi daddy! Come here!”

“Uh ok…” He said following his daughter towards the class group.

“Everyone, this is my daddy, he’s the important person that watches the wind tunnel to keep you all safe!” Dizzy was please to be able to gloat about her father, to think, this morning she was embarrassed having him drop her off, but now that everypony knew he was important, she was happy he was her daddy!

After he answered a few questions the fillies settled down a bit. “I have to get back to watching the machine now everypony, enjoy the rest of your tour!”

Dizzy followed him. “So why weren’t you at the controls earlier?”

“I was on my lunch break sweetie! I didn’t realize you would be visiting today! Sorry hun. It sounds like you’re having a lot of fun though!”

“I am! Its so awesome that you watch the wind tunnel!” Dizzy was basically idolizing her father for having such a good impression on her classmates. It was always good to be popular.

“Dizzy you forgot your lunchbox!” It was Ditzy.

Dizzy might not have liked her much, but she was always nice. Ditzy was jogging Dizzy’s lunchbox to her when something terrible happened.

Ditzy tripped. The lunchbox went flying into the wind tunnel!

“Oh no! She’s thrown off the calibration! Get the fillies out of here!” Dizzy’s father yelled to the other worker pegasus ponies.

They quickly cleared the room of all the school ponies except Dizzy and Ditzy. A loud sound of wind gushing and metal banging like a zipper in the washer was heard. Then, a twister came sputtering out of the wind tunnel! Dizzy’s lunchbox was spinning around in it. Ditzy tried getting up, but when she did, she got picked up in the twister.

Dizzy cringed as she saw her lunchbox smash right into Ditzy’s face as the two collided while full force. Dizzy’s father was working on getting the wind tunnel under control before it let another twister out, and the other pegasus didn’t get too close to the twister, even as it slammed Ditzy into a wall head first again.

Poor Ditzy! Nopony deserves this for trying to return a lunchbox! I have to do something. Dizzy told herself. But what could Dizzy do? She was just a filly...but a filly who was the third best flier in her class and who had a strong pair of wings!

Dizzy flew up to face the twister, fighting back its attempts to pull her into the madness.

“Dizzy! Get away from there its not safe! Some pony stop her!” Her father yelled from his control station. Dizzy didn’t hear him over the roar and yells of Ditzy, even if she had she wouldn’t have cared.

Dizzy first started flapping her wings as hard as she could, then let the twister take her.

“NOOOOO! SAVE HER DAMN IT!” Her father yelled, unable to help for it would create another twister.

Dizzy was actually fine in the twister, she had been flapping her wings as hard as she could before she entered, and when she did enter she went with her back facing the way the wind was turning, so she entered with the flow of wind. By doing that, it didn’t throw her off, but once inside the twister she had to act. Dizzy turned around and beat her wings even harder than before in the OPPOSITE direction of the twister. After a few seconds it started to slow down, and within minutes she had stopped it completely.

Workers flew up and got Ditzy before she fell and rushed her the hospital. Dizzy’s father gave the controls back to the pony he had replaced. The colt had returned to check out all the commotion.

Dizzy gracefully and majestically touched the ground one hoof at a time and landed safely. She was immediately greeted with cheers from her classmates who reentered when Ditzy went out, and she was quickly embraced by her father.

“Oh Dizzy you scared me! That was quite reckless of you.” He sternly told her, “But I’m happy you’re safe and so proud of you for stopping the twister and saving your classmate!”

*GASP* “Ditzy! Thats right, how is she? Is she ok?” Dizzy asked in a slur.
“She was just rushed to the hospital, Mrs. Chalk went with her.” Her father gently cooed, still holding his precious gift of life.

“WHATS GOING ON HERE!” Came a booming voice that entered the room.

Dizzy’s father jumped off of her and stood straight. “Boss!”

“I just made you head of the wind tunnel security, don’t tell me you already messed up! You came so highly recommended!” The boss boomed over Dizzy’s father.

“I know sir, we had a slight malfunction when some of the school kids were here, a twister broke out.”

“A TWISTER?!?” The boss looked around, “Well where the hay is it?”

“Its gone sir, I regained control of the wind tunnel while my daughter here bravely stopped the twister all by herself!”

The imposing boss pony considered for a moment, looking Dizzy over. “Well aren’t you a cute little thing!” He turned back to Dizzy’s father, “Well son, good job! Not many have ever been able to contain a loose twister, much less stop it completely and regain control of the tunnel before more got out! When a twister gets out I usually have to tell the idiots to stop the tunnel or else they just try to keep stopping the infinite number of twisters that are produced! Well done! You make quite the team!”

“Thank you sir, it means a lot to me! I’m so proud of my daughter!” He hugged Dizzy again.

The boss spoke again, “Well you had to expect she would be good with twisters.” he said almost in a matter of fact manner.

“What do you mean sir? She’s just a filly, I was afraid she would get hurt!”

“Well what about that there?” Said the boss pointing at Dizzy’s flank.

Dizzy strained her neck around to look at the side of her butt. Sure enough, right there on her flank, a mark she would have for the rest of her life, 3 twisters adorned her rear.

“Yes!” Dizzy screamed jumping into the air and hovering there for a few minutes while staring at her flank and chanting “YAY I GOT MY CUTIE MARK!!!!”

--------------

“May I go in?” Dizzy asked the nurse.

The nurse nodded and stepped aside in response.

Dizzy timidly entered the white room made of clouds like the rest of the city. Ditzy lay on a soft fluffed cloud.

“Hey Ditzy, its me, Dizzy.” She softly whispered. Dizzy set down a bouquet of flowers next to Ditzy’s bed. “How do you feel?”

“I’m good! They say I got brain damage but I’m fine, all these funny ponies aren’t smart like me!”

Ditzy turned to Dizzy while speaking, while she smiled, looked happy and sounded happy Dizzy gasped upon the sight.

Ditzy’s eyes were crooked.

“Well, you just get better ok?”

“Okie dokie Dizzie!”

Dizzy was nearly in tears as she walked out of the room.

“Will she be ok?”

“Ditzy will live just fine, however she suffered some heavy brain damage and her vision is permanently changed. She will live but she won’t be quite the same pony you knew.”

Dizzy started sobbing at this. She had never felt so bad in her whole life, it was her fault, she had wished that Ditzy would be dumbed down a little, and it was her fault!

Suddenly she felt a hoof on her shoulder.

“Hey there, your friend is going to be ok. She might not be as smart as before, but the brain damage, while terrible, has also allowed her not to care! She is going to live a happy, pleasing life. If it wasn’t for you she might not even have that.

Dizzy sniffed and looked up at the comforting pony. He had black fur and wore a doctors coat. His blue and green hair was strange, but he had made her feel better.

*sniff* “Thanks mister.”

“No problem Dizzy. You did very good. You should go home, you have school tomorrow.” The doctor pony said.

Dizzy nodded her head and looked back up at the kind pony. Just before he walked of Dizzy could have sworn she saw a unicorn horn, but she dismissed this as impossible. They were in the Cloudsdale hospital, unicorns can’t be here, she was just delirious from the traumatizing event was all.

Dizzy Twister: A pegasus in Canterlot (Sequal to Dizzy Twister: The Alicorn)

Written by: Colin Stewart -- Specopsfox

This is a fan made fanfic. It is a clean story appropriate for all ages. Dizzy Twister and Princess Celestia are ponies from the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Any other ponies mentioned like Mrs. Chalk or Dizzy’s Boss are fictional characters created only for this story. Movie Pro is a fan-made pony character by me.

"Yes sir" Dizzy grumbled to her boss.

It had been three full days since that night she had meet the alicorn, Movie Colin Pro, or just Colin like he preferred. She felt downtrodden that he had not at least contacted her! She didn't know where he lived as he had basically just arrived, but she hadn't even gotten like a letter or anything from him!

"What?" Her boss demanded in a rather unhappy tone.

"Sorry sir, I'm going though some personal troubles right now. Don't worry I'll deliver the package." Dizzy replied clearly.

She flew off, a package on her back and a male on her mind.

----------------------

Colin's right hoof nearly hit his eye as it slipped off his cheek. He was extremely bored, the meeting he was in had been VERY dull. Nothing but pleasantries and politics. Colin was a powerful being, not a politician. Still, as request by the Princess, he had been there for nearly three days now.

Three days back, the day after he had meet the amazing Dizzy Twister, he wanted to see her again. After learning she got off work at six, he decided to arrive at her home shortly after and take her out to dinner. However, on his was two pegasus ponies of the royal guard had shown up and asked for him to return to Canterlot. Colin sighed, he knew he was wanted back in Canterlot even before the guards did. He was avoiding it because he knew what it would involve.

Colin did not see why the Princess would insist he need to be there the whole time, he could easily teleport between Canterlot and Ponyville in an instant. Still, she was in charge, Colin never did enjoy taking command of a peaceful and happy civilization. It just seemed so pointless to him. The only thing that probably kept him awake was the thoughts of Dizzy Twister.

He longed to see her again, hoping she hadn't forgotten him. Not again.

A royal guard approached the Princess who was sitting quietly. He whispered so nopony else could hear. Colin still heard it, he would have no matter what.

"I'll take care of it Princess Celestia." Colin said to her with a bow, leaving a slight look of confusion on the guard's face. The Princess nodded her head and turned her attention back front as Colin trotted of, overjoyed to be momentarily free of the boring assembly.

--------------------

Dizzy stood in a large hallway lined with banners and beautiful pieces of art. She was standing there, package at her side waiting for somepony to come sign off for it so she could go. It was her last delivery of the day and she wanted to go to Twilight's home and ask if they had seen Colin recently. She began tapping her front hoof impatiently.

--------------------

Colin turned the corner and grinned. It was exactly what he had been waiting for. He walked down the long, decorated corridor at a normal, calm pace, wondering in his mind the whole time how long it would take.

--------------------

Dizzy herself was becoming bored, she started looking at some of the art on the walls. Canterlot sure has some class, she told herself while admiring the Princess's collection.

It was then she saw somepony had finally come to take the package. Only thing was, she no longer cared about the package or going back to Ponyville. All she cared about was this pony now approaching her with a big grin on his face.

"Colin!" She exclaimed, dropping the clipboard she had been holding in her mouth.

"Hello Dizzy! I'm glad you're here!" The alicorn said with a certain calmness.

Dizzy remembered he hadn't so much as left her a letter over the past three days. "Where have you been? I haven't seen you in three days!" She demanded.

"I'm sorry I've been here in Canterlot, I wanted to see you again but..."

"But you didn't even send a letter!"

Colin considered for a moment then did an actual facehoof. He had completely forgotten about the mail system! It was so basic but he usually didn't need it! He had never really needed to send anypony a letter before!

"I'm sorry Dizzy I had completely forgotten about that! I usually send letters to ponies with magic or I just deliver the message in person! But the Princess wanted me here for this assembly and didn't want me to leave!" He hoped she would accept his apology.

He was right. Dizzy really liked Colin and didn't want to see him as a bad guy. Besides, she though he just seemed like a really honest and trustworthy guy.

"Alright fine. I just wish you could have told me somehow!"

"Well I got you here with this package didn't I?" He asked looking down at the square box behind Dizzy.
Dizzy looked back as well, almost realizing that it was there for the first time.

"Wait, so you ordered the package to bring me here?" Dizzy asked with a slight bit of confusion mixed with some joy if it were true.

"Yes of course! I was having such a horrid time here and I couldn't contact you, I though I would just send for a package and ask for you to deliver it!"

Dizzy was now even more confused, "Wait, so if you thought to order the package, why didn't you just think about mailing a letter?"

"Because, unlike letters, I cannot always hand deliver a package or easily send it through magic to another unicorn because they might have trouble receiving a larger package!" Colin said and then added, "Plus, how else was I going to find a good enough excuse to get you up here! I wanted to show you Canterlot while im stuck here!"

Dizzy's eyes now lit up at this, it would be so nice to explore the capital city with Colin!

"Oh Colin I would love to see Canterlot with you" She tried to remain somewhat professional as there were some guard ponies still nearby.

"Great! Let's just finish up this stuff here..." Colin used his magic to pick up the dropped clipboard. He signed it and added a note. It said:
'Package successfully delivered. Dizzy Twister is needed to stay and assist the Princess with royal matters.'

Colin then looked over at a nearby guard. "Here, bring this back to the Ponyville postmaster." He gave the clipboard to the guard who took it in his mouth. The guard bowed to the two of them and left.

Dizzy felt slightly flustered, nopony had ever bowed to her before, especially not a royal guard of the Princess. She turned back to Colin, blushingly slightly but trying to move on.

"So, whats in the package anyway?" She asked.

"Oh just some earplugs, this thing I'm in is REALLY boring!" Colin sighed. "Here, I will take you to meet the princess really quick!" Colin said and headed off back down the hall, leading the excited Dizzy Twister to where he had just been.

They entered a small room, at the front somepony whom Dizzy did not recognize was speaking, however what caught Dizzy's eye was the Princesses flowing multicolored mane.

"Excuse me Princess?" Colin quietly said in her ear.

"Oh, yes?" She replied in her kind voice.

"This is my friend from Ponyville, Dizzy Twister," Colin said, moving slightly aside for the Princess to see Dizzy, who bowed. The Princess returned the gesture with a nod of the head.

"It is very nice to meet you Dizzy." the Princess said.

"Thank you you're highness, it is an honor to be here!" Dizzy politely said, still bowed.

"Oh please do stand up now, you really don't need to bow." The Princess said in her kind tone.

"Princess, I was going to show Dizzy around Canterlot, I will still be in the city if you need me." Colin told the Princess as Dizzy got off her knee.

"Very well Colin, enjoy yourselves." The Princess almost moaned this and rolled her eyes. Dizzy could tell that just like Colin, she didn't really want to be here either.

----------------

Dizzy walked down the majestic halls with Colin. She looked and gazed at all of the beautiful decorations and items. It was a really beautiful place. While it had not been the first time Dizzy had delivered a package to Canterlot, it was the first time she got an insiders look at the city, and of the castle.

Together they roamed through numerous halls, large rooms and extensive galleries! Dizzy was taken back by the beauty of the royal palace. Colin led her through the castle until they were outside.

"And this here is the royal garden, inhabited by many different plants and animals not found anywhere else in Equestria." Colin explained. He smiled at how much he saw Dizzy enjoying herself.

Dizzy and Colin sat down at a bench together to listen and feel the nature around them.

"So," Dizzy inquired with curiosity, "How did you become the Princess's right hoof pony?"

Colin sat silent for a while, watching a small humming bird zip around collecting nectar from flowers. Dizzy Twister looked up at his face with a slight frown, worried she had touched a sensitive spot.

For a moment, time seemed to freeze, light, sound, all nature seemed to be drawn to and surround Colin in that moment.

Despite the feelings he seemed to give off, what was actually going on in Colin's head was much different. He, being a film maker, Movie Pro being his pony name, he knew what Dizzy was looking at when she saw him. In fact, he used an artist's touch to actually place the light from behind his head and directed everything to revolve around him. The only thing he was able to resist from including was an angelic singing soundtrack. He also used this artificial moment of beauty and grace to think. He had to come up with some way to explain his royal position that wouldn't lead too deep into his past.

Colin exhaled.

"I'm sorry, if you don't want to talk about it its ok..." Dizzy said sincerely before Colin had finished breathing out. Her worry was replaced by a mix of relief and confusion as she saw Colin give a small smile.

"Its ok Dizzy, its not a bad story, just not one I have often told." Colin said with a kind smile. He faced her to more properly explain.

---------------

Several hours later Colin finished telling how he had simply approached the Princess and offered his services as well as describing the different tasks he had to complete to earn the Princesses trust.

It was now dark and the garden was empty of the life that had been present earlier during the evening.

Now, the guards had come and interrupted at one point, but Colin had sent them off. He wanted to be alone with Dizzy.

"I suppose I have talked for too long, its dark now" Colin pointed out noticing the surroundings. "You are welcome to stay here tonight..." Colin sincerely offered to Dizzy.

Dizzy was glad it was dark. She blushed intensely at this. Did Colin had just purposed what she think he had purposed? She responded as normally as she could.

"Oh I couldn't, it would be such an inconvenience to you and the princess I'm sure..." was her still timid reply.

"Oh but not at all. The Castle has a number of guest rooms, you can stay in one tonight and return to ponyville in the morning!"

Dizzy blushed again, this time from embarrassment in misjudging Colin. She followed Colin into the castle. "Oh I don't have work tomorrow, They're training 3 new ponies, so they won't need my help."

"Oh thats wonderful!" Colin exclaimed. He stopped in front of a room. "Well here is where you can stay. You will find everything you need and if you are missing anything you will find a bell you can ring for assistance."

"Thank you so much Colin, its very nice. I'm so honored to be here!" Dizzy said lightly blushing again at the level of generosity and hospitality.

"Hey no problem! Maybe tomorrow you can tell me about your family and how you came to continue living in Ponyville." With that Colin flew off smiling, off to his own quarters for bed.

However, what he did not know is that he had accidentally made Dizzy sad and slightly sullen at the thought of her parents. She sagged off to bed trying to push the memories of despair away.

Dizzy Twister: Moving in (Part 4 of the Dizzy Twister series)

Written by: Colin Stewart -- Specopsfox

This is a fan made fanfic. It is a clean story appropriate for all ages. Dizzy Twister, Grape Seed and any other show named characters are all background ponies from the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Any other ponies mentioned like the butler are fictional characters created only for this story. Movie Pro/Colin is a fan-made pony character created by me.

Dizzy heard a light tapping sound. Her eyes felt heavy as they slowly opened and she recognized the sound as a knock on a door. Dizzy sat up and looked around the royal room. She was in a bed much much larger than her bed at home, the sheets and pillows were very plush and a veil was tied at each end post in an elegant manner. Dizzy stretched each hoof leg and yawned loudly. The knock came again, she figured it was Colin.

"I'll be just a minute Hun!" She called, still rubbing the flakes from her eyes.

"Breakfast is ready and waiting whenever you are madam." Came an unfamiliar voice from outside the door.

Dizzy was puzzled, she wasn't used to this royal treatment. She stepped out of bed and went into the bathroom where she rubbed some water in her eyes and straightened out her mane. She wanted to look her best while in the royal capital.

Dizzy stepped out side her room to a waiting earth pony dressed nicely.

"I will bring you to breakfast now if you are ready, Colin is there waiting for you." He said.

"Very well, I am ready."

As Dizzy followed the pony through the halls, she kept admiring all the beautiful and fascinating things around her, still amazed at the beauty of Canterlot.

"Here we are madam." The butler pony said stopping in front of an open doorway leading into a dining hall.

"Thank you sir." Dizzy slightly bowed her head, knowing it probably wasn't necessary but she felt she needed to do it. She headed inside as her guide departed.

There was a long large table with lots of food and lots of ponies. She looked around until she spotted Colin and went to sit next to him.

"Good morning Dizzy," he said and gave her a small kiss on the cheek, "I trust you slept well?"

"Beautifully! I've never slept in such a comfortable bed before!" She responded looking at the food.

Colin only had some crispy hay on his plate, despite all the other food available.

"Well go ahead and take your pic! If you want anything special you can ask the chef."

Dizzy felt really overwhelmed by all of this, it was amazing, but she wasn't used to being served. She felt awkward and out of place.

Colin finished his food before Dizzy as he didn't eat all that much. "So, are you ready to go back to Ponyville after breakfast? The assembly I was here for has ended and you can return home to ponyville."

Dizzy took a sip of her orange juice and said "Alright that sound good! I must ask tho, how did you get used to all this service? You don't seem the spoiled, pampered type."

"Ha! Don't worry im not, I've had to do a lot of work in my time, trust me, I know how to handle myself in any situation. But for the service, I just kinda got used to it living here and all. Its the only home I have so I kinda got used to it." Colin noticed Dizzy had finished eating. "You done? Good, lets get going before it gets too warm."

-----------

Dizzy and Colin soared through the open skies, side by side air flowing through their manes. It was a wonderful breeze as the two glided, feathers slicing the air.

Dizzy though it would be a good moment to ask Colin an awkward question.

"So, you said your only home here in Equestria is at the castle right?"

"Huh? Oh yeah it is. The Princess gave me my own room and everything. She is very kind."

"So uh," Dizzy knew this was going to sound awkward, "What about in Ponyville? Are you like, homeless? Did you sleep on the street the night you were here?" She blushed a little at the question. It seemed foolish to ask a pony who had their own room in Canterlot if they were living on the streets of Ponyville.

"Well actually I didn't really sleep while in ponyville, just kinda wondered the streets at night, getting the lay out of the town, I even checked out the Everfree forest one night. I am considering getting a place, but haven't really had too much time."

Dizzy smiled and blushed. She felt she loved Colin and wanted to be with him, but the next step was a big one. Dizzy took a deep breath of the sharp air.

"I have an extra room in my home, you could come live with me if you like…" She blushed and looked down at the earth below her, embarrassed that she had the courage to ask.

"Dizzy...I...Yes thank you! I would love that very much. It won't be a burden I promise! Thank you!" Colin agreed with glee.

Colin looked forward, he could see the tall building in the middle of the town square of Ponyville now. He had to think of someway to thank Dizzy… his eyes drifted towards Sweet Apple Acre's new wheat field and he got an idea.

"Hey listen, I wanna make it back to you ok? I'll meet you back at your place tonight!"

"Tonight? But its only one o'clock!" Dizzy said somewhat downhearted.

"I know, but trust me it will be worth it!"

"Ok..be safe!" Dizzy called as Colin descended to the right, leaving Dizzy on her own.

---------------------------

As Dizzy arrived at home, she ran into her friend Grape Seed. Grape had a somewhat upset look on her face as she approached.

"Where were you?" Grape demanded.

"Sorry what?"

"Yesterday, we were going to spend time together after work, but you just disappeared!"

"Oh well you see I ran into Colin in Canterlot! You remember Colin right?"

Grape dropped her tense look and smiled. "How could I not? You're in love with him! He is all you talk about! Despite the fact that we rarely talk anymore!" Grape gave Dizzy a look.

"Well what if we talked now! I've got time! Come on in!" She invited Grape inside and got some water for the both of them.

The two mares sat down on the couch together to begin their girl gossip.

"So, you have to tell me all about it!" Grape giggled.

"Well…." Dizzy began to tell all about Canterlot and her love for Colin.

----------------------------

Colin flew down to Sweet Apple Acres with a wonderful idea in mind. an hour later he was flying off with lots of wheat and flour for what he had planned. He used his magic to create a bag and storage containers for his ingredients. He put everything away and placed the still mostly empty bag on his back and flew off for his next destination.

A few minutes later he arrived at the treehouse, where Twilight was staying. He figured since he missed her last time, he should try again as it was his job.

Colin knocked on the tree door and this time, it was the purple unicorn who answered.

"Hello? Can I help you?" She asked.

"Hi Twilight I'm Colin, I'm here from…"

"Oh yes yes, the Princess sent you from Canterlot to help me with my magic!" Twilight cut in.

"Uhh yes I was just…"

"Oh will im doing much better now thank you! Goodbye!" Twilight rushed as she tried to close the door.

Colin stopped the door from closing.

"Is there something wrong?" He asked trying to peer inside.

"No nothing! Nothing at-"

"Help me!" Came a young male voice from inside.

"Hehe…" Twilight awkwardly opened the door and let Colin in.

Colin entered the library treehouse and looked around. Other than a few books on the floor, nothing seemed wrong. Plus, he couldn't find Spike!

He turned back to Twilight "Uh whats going on in here? Where is Spike?"

"Up here buddy!" Came the dragon from above. He was basically laying with is back on the ceiling.

Colin's horn lit up and Spike lowered to the ground. As soon as Colin cut the spell, the baby purple dragon floated back towards the ceiling.

"Ah, you overpowered your flotation spell didn't you?" Colin said giving a knowing look at Twilight.

Twilight blushed and looked down. "I'm sorry, you must be disappointed."

"Not at all, you're still learning and thats why I'm here!"

Colin brought Spike back to the ground and his horn lit up brighter as he invoked another spell. This time, when he cut his connection, Spike did not rise but stay in place.

"Thank you Colin! If you need me I will elsewhere, I'm not going to be the subject for any more experiments tonight!" Spike huffed and he basically stormed out of the library.

"That's ok. All we need to do is get you to control the amount of power you put behind your spells and make sure you can cut the power from your spell." Colin explained.

"Um, what do you mean by 'cut the power from a spell'?" Twilight asked.

"Remember during Winter Wrap Up when you used the come to life spell on the tractor but you couldn't stop it? Thats what I mean, im going to teach you to stop spells like that."

"Oh that would be quite useful!"

"Then lets begin!"

-----------------------

Two hours later, Colin was walking out of the library, putting a cooking book into his bag. He said goodbye to Twilight and thanked her for the book.

Colin then went off for the final ingredients, some cooking eggs and garlic. He planed a special dinner he was sure Dizzy had never before had. On another planet he had learned how to make pasta and garlic bread. It was both delicious and vegetarian so ponies could eat it.

It took him another hour to find the final ingredients and he picked up a bouquet of flowers on the way. His bag was now full of items as he headed towards Dizzy's home, his new home.

------------------------

"Oh my gosh look at the time! I really must be going! Promise me we will do this again soon!" Grape said to Dizzy finally realizing the time.

"Oh sorry! I guess the time just flew by! I should go prepare the guest bedroom for Colin! Let me walk you to the door." Dizzy said said getting up.

Dizzy opened the front door as Grape walked out.

"See you later Grape!"

"Bye Dizzy! Have fun with Colin tonight!" Grape said with a wink, making Dizzy blush.

Dizzy closed the door and headed upstairs to prepare the room. Once she was up there, she realized how unprepared it was, the bed was bare and most things were rather dusty.

"Oh well better get started…" Dizzy sighed but decided it was worth it as she began dusting. It would take a few hours to clean it all up and it was nearly dinner time already!

------------------------

"Hey Grape," Colin said as he passed Grape in the street heading to Dizzy's house.

"Oh hey Colin! How are you?"

"I'm good, making dinner for Dizzy tonight!"

"Oh sounds romantic! I won't keep you" Grape said in a slightly teasing voice.

Colin blushed and hurried inside with an embarrassed smile on his face.

He heard Dizzy upstairs and decided to surprise her. He headed into the kitchen and started cooking. He used his magic to speed up the process, and within 30 minutes he was cooking his homemade pasta in boiling water and heating his hand made garlic bread. He set a cloth on the table and the flowers in a vase in the middle. He closed his cooking book as he knew the rest from here.

Dizzy was still cleaning up the guest room for Colin, she was having such problems finding the bed sheets. She heard something downstairs and decided to take a break on cleaning and check it out.

She headed down the stairs as sounds of pots and boiling water were heard more loudly. There was a sweet aroma filling the air, she smelled garlic as well as something else she did not know. Whatever was going on downstairs, she was becoming intoxicated by the mix of senses.

Colin was cutting up his garlic bread and straining out the pasta when he saw Dizzy coming downstairs.

"Hello Dizzy! You're right on time! Dinner is nearly ready!" Colin said.

"Colin… What is all this?" Dizzy asked, amazed and confused.

"Its my thanks for letting me stay here!"

Dizzy blushed at the fact that his room was nowhere near ready.

"Here, come sit down." Colin said pulling out a chair for her.

He finished adding the final ingredients to the pasta and was ready to serve. He made two plates, both having a pile of angel hair pasta and a piece of garlic bread on each. After setting both plates on the table, he too joined Dizzy and sat down.

-------------------

After a long romantic meal, Colin and Dizzy finished up their meal and the two cleaned up together. By the time they finished cleaning it was very dark out and it was quiet.

"So, I should go see my new room now?" Colin asked.

"Well…" Dizzy blushed a bit from embarrassment but also smiled from what she was thinking, "well I didn't have enough time to get your room ready, and I can't seem to find the bed sheets either…"

"Oh that's ok, I could always run back to Canterlot and stay there! We will figure it out tomorrow." Colin said, not wanting to sound to intrusive.

"Well, I mean...you could sleep with me for tonight…." Dizzy blushed very hard, looking at the floor, "Its much to late, and I can't just ask you to leave after all you did for me."

Colin looked down at the floor too. The black alicorn was blushing so hard he thought his cheeks would cause 1st degree burns upon touch. Still he mustered up the courage to respond.

"I...I would like that, if its really ok with you…" He looked up a bit, and the eyes of the two meet.

"Follow me…" Dizzy led Colin into her bedroom.

Both considered it a romantic ending to a romantic night, even though their night was far from over.
