7249985 Don't worry, I thought through each and every Sorting thoroughly in the weeks before I actually started writing this. Rarity's makes perfect sense when you think about it. For a while I actually had Applejack in Slytherin, too, but I remembered that Slytherin are liars and it wouldn't work. Twilight is pretty much the only one whose House I never changed.

Heh, so the Apples are basically the Weasley of this crossover. Seems logical.
The other sortings seem right. Twilight and Rainbow are the simplest to determine, and even Rarity is perfect, beacuse Slytherin is the House of the most ambitious, and not the villains' one.

7254163 Well, all I'm really doing is taking the Wizarding World and replacing its characters with humanized ponies. I suppose I was going to originally have Trixie as Malfoy, but I wrote the second chapter before I saw "No Second Prances".
I guess I could have her keep going like this and redeem her later.

Yep, first few weeks are going to be rough on Rarity and Fluttershy.
Still ... Fluttershy has Applejack (and maybe the other Apples and Marble) to help her out, and I think once she gets over her disgust, Rarity's ambition and drive (and willingness to punch a someone out) will serve her well in Slytherin.
