Silver Letter

I am a student of writing and I hope someday to be able to become an actual writer of fiction.

Prism Wavelength is a very generous spirit, aiding ponies as she can every year at Hearth's Warming. But from circumstances beyond her control, this holiday doesn't feel the same as it normally does.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, finally got around to this. I apologize for taking so long, between the holidays and school starting up again, things have just been busy. Anyways, thank you very, very much for writing yet another entry for one of our contests, Silver Letter! Our staff of course very much appreciates it, even more so in that you wrote something which could potentially become Poniverse canon. This was interesting in how well it worked, given that even for first person it was... odd. Not in a bad way, mind you, but since there was barely any dialogue, it was like most of the fic was just Prism's stream-of-consciousness. Impressively, a story did emerge in that indeed, and I'm very happy overall with what you put together here.

Just for clarification, how old is Prism supposed to be right now? I couldn't figure out if she was supposed to be a young teenager or more like 18-20? Other than that, though, this was a very, very enjoyable fic, and thank you very much for taking the time to write it.

Sorry for not replying for so long. I am busy with college these days as you have been busy with your grad school.
I think Prism is an older teenager but not really an adult yet.

If this story does impact Poniverse canon then you may take that into account. I'm also glad that I managed to rank in the winners. I thought it interesting that myself and the winner had reflected on the nature of being fortunate. I guess that is an important idea when the concept of giving is concerned.

Thanks for reading as usual.
