Let me ask you something: Why would I write a story, for a My Little Pony fan fiction site no less, without any semblance to it, then add elements from My Little Pony to it?
This story could not, I repeat, could not, work without My Little Pony characters or elements, because the plot is focused and revolving around that fact alone.
