Story is . . . difficult to say. There is a high risk of Mary Sueness, but the quality of writing is decent enough so far. Keep going!

Good plot, but you could improve on the drama and description. Ever been in a writing club or taken lessons? I think they would really help you, I see plenty of potential in this kind of story! :)
