They're tired of mentors never telling them what they need to know. They're tired of always being expected to forgive others, no matter what. They're tired of always being the one who saves the day when the people they save aren't worth it.

nice work
Rofl 🤣 that is ridiculous yet. So true with game logic and they're just simple simple objects by invisible wall so no one could cross or do anything. I hate that bush. It causes so much problems in pokémon makes it so annoying to get places easier. Also, the stick on the bridge thing is just down right Hilarious! And the final boss can just rot and his little locked room like little shit he is final the bosses always suck
Oh I would completely abuse this logic in a world that runs on video game logic. More so if I'm exempt from that logic myself. I'd go full chaos god on that world just putting up what would be meaningless obstacles in reality but are somehow impossible barriers to everyone else and plunge the whole world into anarchy that would cause both the hero and the main villain to question how things have spiraled so poorly out of control while also making sure neither the hero or the bbeg's minons can even reach the guy who can teach them how to deal with the first obstacle by blocking the path to him with the obstacle for the last guy to teach you to get past an obstacle and blocking that guy off with the obstacle for the 2nd guy, who is blocked off by the 3rd guy's obstacle who is in turn blocked by the 1st guy's obstacle.
That would be a very good video game concept to be honest
