I believe that was the point; both phoenixes and eagles are birds. Not to mention the style and even the name match; "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Turnabout X" and "Trixie – Defense Attorney – Turnabout Shot", and just the general theme, not to mention that the colored text is used a lot in AA games.
