Scootaloo is dead. Has been for 13 years (this take place 25 years after 'To be a Hero in Changing Times', when this Scootaloo and the other two crusaders were eight. She died when she was Twenty). When you die, you think you learn what role you played and how important you really are to the universe. Because of that belief, Scootaloo thinks she was worthless.
She was once famous as the Cloudsdale Brand, but now she believes that even those close her never thought she was important to them. She is wrong.
She, at the behest of Rama Kushna(also known as the entity of the white light) is about to face a Monster known as Nekron. If she fails to defeat it, she will cease to exist and the dead shall raise. But if she succeeds, she not only will she save the world, but she just might Live again.
This is a Super Equestria Story
Yeah, I killed Scootaloo to make her the Deadman of my universe, don't worry though. She gets a happy ending (Not that kind, you sick prevs)
And as for Rama Kushna being The White Light Entity is only unique to my fics as far as I know.
Super Equestria has a lot of characters taking on duel role or becoming composite characters to keep it a simple universe compared to other versions that are more complicated.
This will not be a long fic, maybe three to four chapters, and writing it is to help clear my head for the other two Stories (The Doomsday fight is kicking my ass, as I can't seem to make Doomsday seem threatening without making Celestia and Luna look week compared to Clark. An the Flash is going nowhere fast, pun intended).
The premise of the story seems pretty good to me. I would like to see more of it. This story seems to be told in first person, so there isn't much I could really say as far as mistakes are concerned. I don't see any noticeable mistakes, or I just simply must be tired, but it reads good so no cons from me.

Her first (adopted) grandchild is Kal-El of Krypton/Clark Apple, who will appear in the Epilogue of 'To Be a Hero in Changing Times.

What is this a crossover of?
4533837 The DCU(as DC comic characters), this one features Scootaloo as Deadman. I Call Her the DeadMare, but I never call her that in story. In story she is still Scootaloo or the Cloudsdale Brand(that's a play on the real name of Deadman: Boston Brand).
It seems that your crossover universe is growing good and healthy. This was a good example of using resources without over explaining

I never intended to keep Scootaloo dead. If it weren't for the White Lanterns and Black Lanterns, I would have just ignored her. Keeping them in character the hard part.
Hopefully, the continuity makes sense.
Now comes the hard part: Explaining the reason why she comes back to life. Currently, I have it as only Rama/The White Light Entity being the the only thing that allows resurrections outside of the Life-Equation just to keep the death is cheap aspect out of this continuity.
If things go well the next chapter should be the last for this fic.

So, she's going to stop the Blackest Night from happening?
4599736 Kind of. Technically, the this is the blackest night and yet it's not. Nekron is not anywhere near his cannon power levels (yet, he get more power and rings for every death a black lantern causes in this universe). Rainbow Dash is the reason Scootaloos' body is Black Lantern. Since Dash "Kills" the Black Lantern, the blackest night is averted unknowingly by both of them (Scootaloo temporarily takes control of her body and tell Dash to destroy her).
That is why she gets revived. Scootaloo basically saves the filly she's sent to protect, by trying to save Rainbow Dashs' Life and forgetting about saving the filly who is Rainbows' unborn daughter, Quick Dash Meaning she did the right thing without realizing it.
And that's that folks. The Last Day of the Deadmare is finished.
What is a Super Equestria Story?
4613959 It's basically what I call the universe this story is set in (it is a pony version of the DC universe). I call it Super Equestria mainly because I don't know what else to call it.
For the most part, a "Super Equestria" Story stars Ponyfyied versions of Heroes Like Superman(Superstallion is actually name Clark because he is named after Superman, who I actually am using as the catalyst for this verse), Batman(not really sure what to call him yet), Green Lantern, the Flash, WonderWoman/Mare, Zatanna, J'onn J'onzz and the like, with some MLP FiM characters taking to role of some to keep thing simple.
Others can write stories set in the verse if they like (as long as they stick a few rules, but not everything I want to happen is set in stone).
But How did you like this story? Do you think it can be improved?
Hmm, not bad. Feels like a tie-in from Blackest Night or a supporting feature for The Brave and the Bold back in the Silver Age days.
Can I be proofreader? Your stories have such fascinating concepts (with me being a HUGE fan of DC) and I might be able to edit here and there. Can't do full time editor though, because I have another editing job that... *winces* uh, is a little more difficult than I expected.
