Applebloom groaned in pain...but she saw a star. A former life form...alive. A...star. "Finally!" It said with glee. "Your awake! Let's play!"

It sound a few times...until it changed a star to a...bunny? It hopped...and hopped...bounced...and bounced...and bounced away. Applebloom looked to her left to see Sweetie Belle still asleep, and she gave a shove hard enough to wake her up. "Hmf...ugh...huh?" Sweetie Belle asked. She looked around...and saw nothing but space and a few stars. "What the..." She said with confusion.

Applebloom looked to her right, and saw Scootaloo...asleep. She shove, and Scoot woke up with a yawn. "What happened...?" She asked lazily. She checked out the soft...green...grass...then the sky. "Woah...are we...in space?" Scoot asked.

"Ah...Ah don't know. But the grass just feels...comfy." Applebloom said as she slide her hoof side to side on the grass. She shook her head and remembered the task at hand. "The star-Ah mean bunny-Ah mean...c'mon!" Applebloom said as she took off, following the star dust left from the tail.

They followed as well, and they saw three bunnies, waiting patiently for them. "Let's play hide-and-seek!" said the leader of the bunnies. "If you catch all of us, we will tell you where you are. You three can only catch one bunny at a time. That means you must be together just to catch one of us!"

They smiled and took off. Then...poof...their gone.

"Uh...like that seems fair." Scoot said.

"Don't worry! We can find them in no time!" Sweetie Belle said with happiness. Applebloom nodded and smiled. "Yeah! This is gunna be a piece of cake!" She said.

They ran off into a random direction...and saw a green pipe. Large enough to fit even Celestia in there. "Should we...should we...you know...go in there?" Scoot asked. Applebloom shrugged as she climbed in there.

"Ah don't see anyth-WOAH!!" She said as she fell inside the pipe, followed by Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. They appeared on the other side to find the bunny with yellow ears. "There it is!" Scoot yelled. They chased it...and chased it...but the bunny started to slow down. With one good jump, they all...caught the bunny.

"Aww! I knew I should've hid in the bushes." it said, just before changing into the star. The Crusaders smiled and ran to the nearest bush, and finding another yellow bunny from the bushes. They gave chase, and the bunny slowed down in exhaustion. Scootaloo gave a manly grab onto the bunny, and it turned into a star. "Aww man! I knew I should've hid in the crater." it said.

They smiled, but nice they saw a hole-less crater...they stopped in fear. "Uh...w-who want's to jump in first?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"No...we all have to jump in, remember?" Applebloom said. Scoot groaned in fear, and they plan to count on three. "1...2...3!!"

They jumped, and they was stashed into a huge bubble, forcing the bunny to come out. They gave chase once again, and successfully catching the bunny. It changed into a silver star, and it made a adorable sound as it was caught. "Can't believe I let myself get caught." It said.

As soon as it saw the other stars caught, it spun in glee. "Wow, you really caught all of us? Maybe you really can help Mama." it said.

Out of nowhere, a small building appeared, right on top of this...round...thing. The three Crusaders followed on top, and a something glowed. It shined bright...and out came...a pony.

"I've been watching you from here. This place is called the gateway to the starry sky..." She said, then she bends her neck to the point where she can see them. "My name's Rosalina. I watch over and protect the cosmos. To save your special one, you need the power to travel through space."

She waved her wand, and the two yellow stars and the silver star popped from behind. "Luma, Cosmos, and Star can give you this power. I will entrust you with their care." She continued. The three stars flew above their heads and spun...and spun...faster than you can see a shooting star. Then, it dropped below the Crusaders heads and they all cheered.

You have the ability to spin now! Shake the !!

"Disaster has struck us, just as it visited you. With Luma, Cosmos, and Star, I hope you can save the Grand Stars. May the stars shine upon you." Rosalina said. She disappeared into thin air, leaving a huge amount of dark crystal, and a barely-see-able thing.

"Well...that...was...weird...and short lived." Applebloom said awkwardly.

"Yeah. But...uh...how...do we destroy this thing?" Scoot asked.

"Maybe we spin on it? The stars did it. Maybe we should." Sweetie Belle said.

"And hurt ourselves? Like I would do it."

"Just do it you dodo bird!"

"Stop calling ponies names you have no idea what it means!"

"Girls! Sweetie Belle's right. We gotta bust this thing. On the count of three. One...two..." Applebloom counted as they all spun onto the dark crystal. It busted open, and a huge star with an opening appeared. They all climbed on it...and spun. The star shared up, and shot them out like a cannon.

They all screamed in happiness, and when they landed on another planet, they giggled. "That was awesome!" Scoot said.

"That was fun!" Sweetie Belle said.

"Let's do it again!" Applebloom cheered, but a star interrupted them. "Hi there!" it said. "Good to see you! I...have some bad news. I had a launch star ready for you, but a meteor crashed on it! You can't leave without it, so find all the star chips to fix it. Oh, and be sure to not fall into the black hole."

The Crusaders nodded and formed the plan to fine the star chips. Applebloom saw a near chip hidden in the black crystal. She spun on it, destroying it, and earning her first star chip. "Cool! ...Wonder what they do?" She asked herself.

Sweetie Belle was sent to find the hidden-in-plain-sight ones. She saw a huge stone, and behind it, was a golden chip. She grabbed it and she cheered...until she was stabbed on the hoof. "Ow..." She said in pain.

Scootaloo was sent to find the hard-to-reach places. One piece was sitting right under the platform, ready to fall in the black hole. "Al...most...there!" Scoot said as she reached down for the piece. Her hoof was inches away, and when she finally gave herself in, she grabbed the piece. She quickly pushed herself up, and sighed in relief. "That was to close." She said.

Applebloom saw another chip hidden in black crystals, and she gave one hard hoof to break it. She grabbed the piece and ran in the middle.

Sweetie Belle saw another piece...but it was protected by a...ugly...looking creature. "Goomba!" It said. "Goom....BA!!"

"Goom...ba?" Sweetie Belle pronounced. "Goomba...is that what you are?"

The creature heard her and tried to run into her....but was blocked by a hoof. "Sorry...can't hurt me tonight!" Sweetie Belle said as she gave one good kick. It flew backwards, and star bits flew out. It flew right into her body...and it...tasted good. "Mmm..." Sweetie Belle hummed.

She grabbed the piece and ran into the middle, as Scoot and Applebloom waited. "Where were you?!" Scoot asked.

"I fought my first enemy! And I got three colorful star bits!" She said as she took out one star bit. They "Ooo..." The bit as she put it back in her pocket...I guess.

"C'mon! We gotta build the star!" Scoot said. They all threw their pieces in the air, and the star built itself. They cheered, jumped on the star, and was shot out again onto another planet...thing. More Goomba's appeared and the Crusaders ran away in fear. They saw a star, trapped in a little case. "Help me!" It yelled. "One of those enemies should have the key!"

The Crusaders groaned and looked at the Goomba's. They all roared, and ran towards them...especially that one tall Goomba. However, it was hilarious to see each Goomba lose a fight to a filly. When the tall Goomba came out, all three fillies charged up their hoofs and nailed the Goomba. As he died, a key fell, and they grabbed it, freeing the star from it's trap. "Thanks!" It said. "Could you help my buddy up there too? I'll transform into a sling star. Just jump in me after I TRANSFORM!!"

The star changed into a mini star, and the Crusaders smiled. "This just get's better and better." Scoot said, now jumping in. The other two got in as well and did a countdown. "Five...four...three-!" The star shot them out before they could finish, and they crashed into another base. They all groaned...and screamed as they saw a GIANT Goomba ready to stomp them. "Spin!" Applebloom yelled.

They all spun with their hoofs out, and the Goomba was forced to fall backwards. "Kick!" Sweetie Belle said. They all ran to him and kick him to push him even farther. "Now...spin." Scoot said with a smirk.

They all spun and destroyed the Goomba, and released a key. Opening somewhere in the base. They ran downwards and saw the star in a green pipe. "Hurry! Down here!" the star said. The Crusaders nodded and jumped into the pipe, screaming in glory and adventure.

Nice they made it inside the base, the star was prepared. "We've been waiting for you." It said. It pointed at a huge, lifeless star, all brownish, and not golden like the other stars. "That's a Grand Star! We have to save it!" It continued. "Their using the Grand Star to power that awful machine. It looks like it's making...something. We have to do something before the Grand Star is drained! Quick, find a way to stop the machine!"

"But we don't know how!" Scootaloo said in fear.

"Wait...I have an idea." Sweetie Belle said. She ran towards a yellow button, and it turned blue. "See? We turn all the yellow buttons blue!" She said.

"Well...alright. But it better not be a trap or I'm out." Scoot said. They ran all around the anti-gravity globe and turned on all the buttons. "So...what now?" Scoot asked.

Just in time, the trap opened and free'd the Grand Star. The Crusaders cheered and they went to grab. As soon as they grabbed it, they floated, some in circles, some in backflips, but they all spun the star, swirled it, and all caught it in time to say:

They flew with the star, not giving a tail about where they went. They just...flew with the star, and giggled, and laughed. But when they landed, the star flew into the power source...bringing light into whatever they were. 1/7 of the place was lighted up and they aww'd the place...even the dark. The Power Source grew bigger, and changing from yellow to orange. "The beacon is light again." A brown star said.

"It shines weakly, maybe only as bright as a Class 6. But at least the poor luma's can survive now." It continued.

"Oh, thank you for saving the Grand Star. These star people are my family...they mean so much to me." Rosalina said, then faces towards the fillies. "Welcome to the Comet Observatory. it's my home, and home for the luma's. You see, we travel the starry sky. We pass by this area every one hundred years, but we suddenly stop in front of this planet. A strange forced has lashed onto our ship, pulling away our star bits and power stars.

"Our ship had lost power and went into a hibernating state in which we cannot move. those who took your special one took the power stars and discovered the power to travel the universe. Please, I have a request: This Observatory uses power stars to protect images of the galaxies that are scattered across space. And their is a chance we can use our few remaining stars to look for other power stars. Those round rooms are domes, we observe galaxies from domes such as these.

"But the only one that's working right now star power you restored, and that's Terrace. Please go to the Terrace and try to recover the Power Stars from the galaxies you can see from there."

"If you do that, we'll be able to restore the Comet Observatory's ability to fly like a star ship. Then perhaps we can pursue the thieves who ran off with the power stars." said the brown star.

"Well...alright then. C'mon!" Sweetie Belle said.

"We're gonna go on our very first galaxy adventure!" Applebloom said.

"Maybe we can get our cutie marks that way!" Scoot said. They all gasped as they spread the one words everyone desperately does not want to hear.

"CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS GALAXY HEROES!!" They yelled. They ran into the Torrece and it was...how you say...small. They looked through the telescope and the first thing that caught their eye was Good Egg Galaxy. "Let's go there!" Scoot pointed out.

A star formed out of nowhere and blasted them into Good Egg Galaxy, and they all screamed one final word.

"Let's a-go!"

I'm liking this. It has much potential, I believe.
I also enjoy the highlighting of the words as it is in the games. I'm not sure if it is acceptable in terms of writing, but I do enjoy the detail.

And some more advice:

I recommend not using so many ellipses ("..." can be substituted with a comma or flat-out eliminated).

When the Crusaders were counting down, say "One, two, three!" rather than "1, 2, 3!" They are spoken in the same manner and it is better to write it out than to simply use a number.

When you use a picture, I recommend using the URL idea as with YT videos that I suggested. Explain in a paragraph what the character looks like (even doing a little bit of explanation would be acceptable enough) and link to the picture anyway. The explanation is the more important part; the picture just helps visualize if the reader cannot translate the words into a mental image.

I sincerely hope that I'm not giving off the wrong impression with these little advice bits of mine. I'm enjoying the idea so far and would enjoy seeing it. I'm just hoping that, with a bit better punctuation and better integration of internet resources, this can be a really good fanfic from which you can learn.
