A Jail Cell to a 6 Star Room

When I woke up I felt like my head had been trampled. When I stood up I saw that I was in a jail cell. The inside of the cell was bear. The only thing in it was a bed. I felt in my pockets to see what I had to work with.

I still had my lockpicks and my dragon dagger. I knew why I still had my lockpicks. They must of thought they were just strips of metal. I didn’t know why I still had my dagger. I mean anyone can see it has a sharp edge.

Outside of the cell I could see guards walk around every once in a while. Some would glare at me while others looked at me with sympathy. Some were sorry for my loss. After awhile they stopped coming past and I chose this moment to break out. As I was picking the lock I noticed a strange ring on my finger.

When I was done with the lock I tried to remove the ring but it wouldn’t budge. I tried melting it off with a fire spell but when I got it ready it fizzled out. I tried again but the same thing happened. Ignoring it I opened the door and snuck out of the dungeon.

When I got into the hallways I stood there in amazement. The floor was made of marble and beautiful art lined the hall. Not even if all of the jarl pooled their septims they wouldn’t even come close to afford all of this. As I continued down the hall I noticed a lack of guards. If this is a castle why are there so few guards.

I soon came to a set of large golden doors. I softly said “Laas Yah Nir”. Life signs lit up in the room. There were 2 big ones, 11 small ones, and 3 human size. That confused me Raof died but I see 3 human life signs.

Then a guard’s yells from behind “Hey what are you doing out of your cell”. He started to call for help and I knew this was not going to be pretty if that backup got here.

Hoping to break the door I shouted “ Fus Ro Dah” and sent the doors flying. In the room was The two large ponies, Twilight, her friends, a small purple dragon, And the commander of the guards. The guards in the room charged me in an attempt to recapture me. Even though I only had a dagger I was still deadly.

When they got close I slashed and punched them and they went down in seconds. Then I felt a burning feeling in my hand and saw my dagger shot from my hand. I was defenseless and if I went to get it they would be on me in a instant. When I looked at my hand to see the damage I noticed that the ring had melted off. I cracked a smile as I prepared an ice bolt in one hand and a fire bolt in the other.

I overwhelmed the commander with a quick volley of fire and ice bolts. He tried to fend them off with a ward but it took only 4 before the ward broke. He fell to his knees as I ran up to him. He attempted to shoot off one more spell but before he could I put a spell blocking spell on his horn. Then his spell fizzled out on him.

He looked as if he had seen a ghost he was sputtering and was still trying to cast a spell. I looked up at the two large ponies and they both had looks that had a mix of amazement, slight fear, and anger. I had only one thing to say “So you’re the one who ordered the attack on my home”.

The white one replied “Well yes but from Twilight’s letter it stated you attack Rainbow Dash one of the Elements of Harmony”. I turned and saw Rainbow Dash had a smile on her face. The next words the white one said confused me. “But in all my years I have never seen anypony beat Shining Armour. He has led my royal guards through many things and is one of my best commander”.

I took this as a compliment she had a charm to her that anyone would like. “Also when we took your son to see our doctor a strange item came flying through the door and set it’s self onto his chest”. I thought about it and remembered that that was one of my family’s heirloom. It had the ability to heal any wound no matter what. Then I knew they must of collected everything from my home.

“I know of what you speak it is one of the many heirlooms my family had. Also may I add can you please return everything you took from my home some of those things can never be replaced”.

Then Rainbow Dash yelled like a dying dragon. “Are you serious that THING nearly killed a guard back at ponyville, broke out of jail, and assaulted Twilight’s brother and he is asking for his stuff back”. She flared out her wings and went to charge me. Before she could even touch me I casted a paralyzing spell on her. She fell like a stone in water.

She tried to move but all she could do was shoot glares at me and yell. “YOU BETTER LET ME GO YOU BUC…”. I shoved some torn pieces of my shirt into her mouth to shut her up. All that came from her was muffled yells.

“Ok…. So there is something I want to ask you”. I thought of almost everything she could ask but what she said totally caught me by surprise. “I would like you to be Co captain with Shining Armor to help protect my kingdom”. The room was silent Shining Armour, Twilight and everyone in the room looked at her. I was speech less sure I have fought wars but I have never been asked to become a guard.

“Well… will you do it”. I really didn’t have anything to lose.

“I accept your offer miss”.

“Oh sorry I forgot to tell you my name. My name Is Celestia and this is my sister Luna”.

Shining Armour regained his ability to talk and said “Princess you can’t be serious you want me to work with that thing”. Like Rainbow Dash his attitude annoyed me.

“I have a name you know and it is Towvo so get it straight”. I looked over at Rainbow Dash again and saw her yelling up a storm but you couldn’t hear a thing.

Twilight walked over to me and said “Well let me be the first to tell you thank you for joining the Royal Guards. They need someone like you to help train them”.

“Well I will allow you to stay in my castle until I can see if I can get your house over here in Canterlot”. I didn’t know how she would get my house here but that was at the back of my mind. Twilight and the girls left while telling me how happy they were for me. After they left Jove, Marned, and Raof walked up to me.

“Well Towvo seems like you just made some good friends and sorry for drugging you it was the only way to calm you down”.

“It’s ok if you didn’t there would have been blood shed”.

Both Marned and Raof said “ So pa are we going to stay at nice castle”.

I cracked a smile and brought them into a hug “Yes we are going to be staying here for a little while. Jove go ask Celestia where she is keeping out stuff and go with the kids to get their toys”.

A guard walked up to me and said “ Hi there uhh”

“Dragonborn”

“Dragonborn I am here to show you to your room”. As we walked down the hall I was thinking about a lot of things. When I got to the room I thanked the guard and had a look around the room. There was 4 beds, a large bathroom, and a balcony with a great view. With all that has happened today and the after effects of those drugs Jove put in me I was tired.

I climbed into bed and closed my eyes and drifted into sleep.

1° He was SOMEHOW carrying a dagger while in jail.
2° He escaped, since the castle has few to no guards.
3° He Knocked down the guards and their captain.
4° Paralyzed rainbow dash, no one tried to stop him.
5° Out of nowhere he asked for their help, like if he wasn't a criminal, at all!
6° He was given an offer to become a co-captain of the royal guards.... just because.
7° Despite his criminal records he was thanked by twilight, who now automatically trusts him, even down he beated her brother.

Sorry, but this screams gary-stu like a goddamned tornado of godly proportions.

He is not really sided with them its just that they are very important to Celestia and even though he can rival the sun he doesn't want to tick off an entire empire and yes there will be shouts.

1° Can't explain that. Maybe it was ''hidden''.
2° Blame the bad guard routines on the generally peaceful world.
3° Considering his current situation, he was defending himself.
4° Again, he was defending himself from a racist RD (Gilda, a chimera of an eagle and lioness, a carnivore or omnivore)
5° He wasn't a criminal, and they attacked him based on misunderstanding. For all intents and purpose, the guards actions reflects the princesses and thus they broke into his house, stole from him and murdered a mere child of his kin (who was brought back back by his means, not because of their help).
6° he have proven himself a worthy fighter with a strong protective nature and morals.
7° Still not a criminal (criminal - person who have committed a crime), and he was just defending himself considering last time he met them they were attacking him groundless accusations, breaking into his house and attacking his kin AND they had still yet to explain themselves. He didn't harm Shining, he just neutralized him with a spell blocking spell on his horn, after that he halted his hostility.
