Unforgiving Hell

Spike's funeral was held 2 weeks after he died.Not a single pony in Ponyville had a dry eye when it was started.All the Elements of Harmony were there,except for Twilight.No one had seen her since she had rushed Spike to the hospital crying and screaming for help.They all knew she was at home,but she kept it locked up tight with magic.Not even Celestia could get inside.

The funeral began with Celestia saying her words over Spike's body,then stepping back and allowing Luna to do the same.Rarity was the first to come forward.Her face was wet and mascara was running down it."Spike..."She stuttered,her breathing shallow."My little Spikey-Wikey..I'm so sorry.."Rarity let out a quiet sob,refusing to break down before she was finished."I'll always love and miss you Spike.You were a friend to us all,and a light when things were dark.I'm sorry-"She managed to get out,before breaking down into a fit of sobs. Fluttershy quietly walked up to Rarity,and pulled her back to the other girls.

Pinkie Pie was up next.She stood quietly for a long time,before she slowly put a hoof on the casket.A single tear rolled down her face as she whispered,"You Pinkie Promised.."Her hair lost its puffy texture,the air making a slight hissing noise as it went flat.She ran back into the crowd,tears streaming down her face.Everyone watched her go,getting a hollow feeling as the town's happiest occupant was now crying her eyes out in the embrace of her friends.

Then came Rainbow Dash.Despite her reputation for being the toughest,her eyes were puffy and red,and her face was tear streaked.She had been holding a lot of her emotions in up until this point,and she finally let them out,falling to her knees and sobbing in front of the casket."Dammit Spike,"She whispered under her breath."Why did you have to do this to me?To all of us?We miss you so much..."Her breath caught,and got got to her hooves,backing away from the casket.She turned tail,walking back towards her friends.They gave her a much needed hug,and she finally stemmed her flow of tears,trying to stay strong for her friends.

Applejack came up to the casket,taking her hat off and holding it to her chest.She drew in a sharp breath,her eyes filling with tears."Sugarcube.."She said quietly to the casket."Why?Why did this happen to you?"Applejack shook her head violently,repeatedly telling herself she wasn't going to cry.Despite her efforts,tears streamed down her face as she said with a bit more force,"Why!?How could you do this Spike..I try so hard-"She let out a painful sob,stomping her hoof.She turned and ran.Her hat had been dropped,and it now floated down slowly,landing on the casket.She either didn't know,or didn't care.She just wanted to be alone.Running through the crowd,she left the funeral,running off into the town and away from prying eyes.

Fluttershy was the last one to come up.She didn't say anything,just stood there,her eyes full of tears.She leaned forward,kissing the casket,tears spilling from her eyes.As she whispered,"I love you.."The clouds covering Ponyville opened up,rain spilling from them in light torrents.The girls didn't mind,even Rarity.They would stay with Spike.They huddled together,feeling incomplete without Twilight here.Or Applejack,for that matter.They all watched with teary eyes as the casket was lowered into the ground.Waiting until he was buried,they stood in the pouring rain while everyone else had left,giving the girls their best wishes and telling them they were sorry for their loss.The funeral finally over,they all decided to go to the library,hoping to see Twilight for the first time in two weeks.They stood on the front steps,trying the door to find it was locked.Rainbow Dash solved that problem by kicking the door in with a few strong bucks.

The library was dark inside,everything coated in a thin sheen of dust.Twilight was no where in sight. Fluttershy volunteered to look upstairs,and as she started up the stairs,Rarity and Rainbow peeked into the kitchen. Pinkie Pie was down in the lab,looking around.Fluttershy stopped in front of Twilight's bedroom,trying the doorknob.It was unlocked.She pushed it open,looking into the dark room.She saw Twilight's form on the bed,and the room in disarray.Books were strewn everywhere,and scrolls were piled in random stacks along the walls.She called out to the girls,"Found her!"As she lit a lamp.The sound of hooves on the stairs reminded her that she wasn't alone in all of this.She turned to Twilight,shaking her."Come on Twi,"She said reassuringly."We are here to help."She rolled Twilight over,wondering if she was passed out or something.That's when she saw it.A thin jagged line across her throat,dried blood caking it up,covering her coat and some of the bed.

"Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash said."You up here?"Fluttershy answered her with a blood-curdling scream.It stopped the other girls cold,their hearts skipping a beat.Fluttershy had never screamed like that.Ever.The other girls showed up at Twilight's room in time to find Fluttershy shaking violently on the ground,screaming over and over again.They all ran to her,trying to comfort her and find out what's wrong.She just waved them away,pointing at the bed and saying "Twilight" over and over.

Nobody was the same after Twilight died.The Elements stopped being around each other,or communicating.Pinkie Pie was always sad and never threw parties.Rarity closed her boutique and stopped making clothes.Rainbow Dash stopped going to work,and they took her house and everything in it.Fluttershy was the most affected.She fell into deep depression,and stopped taking care of her animals.Applejack couldn't give up her farm,so she had to keep working to bring money in for her family.But whenever she was alone,people have heard her crying in her room.What made Twilight do it?Why? Nobody knew.The library was condemned,and replaced with a bigger school building.Rarity eventually moved to Canterlot. Applejack stayed on her farm and continued working.Fluttershy went back to caring for the now partially crazy animals.Rainbow Dash moved back to Cloudsdale. Spike and Twilight would be remembered by everyone as kind and loving.The good times outweighed the bad ones and that's what mattered. Ponyville eventually got back on track,and built a memorial fountain for Twilight and Spike.They wouldn't be forgotten for a long while yet.

3045754 I know it was a little rushed,but while I was writing i thought,"How the buck do I end this story!?"So I didn't focus on the whole of the story at that point,I was thinking about how to end it without it being a cliffhanger,or sucking completely.

While this was incredibly rushed, the human train of thought was way off. Nobody simply commits suicide that quickly. Two weeks into depression is not a lot of time. Depending on the person's willpower and perseverance (Twilight has a lot), it can take up to a few months or maybe even half a year to get to that suicidal mind state. Cutting and guilt-induced masochism could be induced over this span of time.

The story lacks depth, and is overall very rushed. There are grammatical errors and punctuation errors, along with spacing errors. It's not neat, when it should be.

It really needs to be looked over. Now I'm not saying the plotline is bad. The idea was good, but the effort, dedication and passion just... isn't there, man.
