3053362 Lyra didn't actually see anything per se. Since the fic is basically designed to be a spot of black humor about the HiE genre, I got a bit meta and put Lyra in there for the sake of it. Suppose that makes Lyra the only part of the fic that's really just trollish. Think of it like Pinkie's 4th wall sense applied only to humans and done with the same extreme given to her fanon obsession.

I don't really know why Lyra was involved but if you look at her reactions a certain way... doesn't it seem mighty strange that she got so upset when Twilight said portal creation isn't possible or the fact she hung herself when the princess banned them?
...is Lyra a human in pony form trapped in equestria? That would explain her reaction to the banning, how would you react if you were basically just told you will never be able to see any past friends and family or regain your normal life, maybe bon bon knew and let her go on with it since its more merciful?
