I prefer writing and reading original stuff, with a sinful taste to abnormality, darling. :raritywink:

Inspire by the song Promise of a lifetime by Kutless.

This is a P.O.V. short story of a nameless pony who is dying of a sickness uncureable. He/She is having their last moments in the hospital bed with his/her love one Pinkie Pie remembering the time they met. Not going to spoil much so read to find out what happens.

Very good I got to into it and lost track of time and sadly brunt my bagels as I read the whole story:twilightoops:

No words can describe the sadness in this fan-fic.:fluttershyouch:

Found a link to this fic at the top of the page. I thought to myself, "this cannot be what I think it is." In spite my doubts, I clicked on it to discover that it actually is inspired by a song from one of my favorite bands. Despite the fact that I am against most shipping, I was too curious not to read this. I'll get this out of the way quickly, the punctuation can use some improvements. There were times I read over a sentence twice to make sure I understood it. Moving on with the story itself.

Do not read the following paragraph if you have not read if you have not yet read the story. I would hate to spoil it for you.
I had to think for a few minutes after I finished to figure out that the promise broken here was the promise of staying by one's side. Maybe that was just a problem on my part; I am a Christian, and I take the song as having a Christ-centered message. It is all about perspective, I guess. Since this comment was made spur of the moment, there isn't too much I can think to say. The overall presentation was well-written; just one pony's perspective given yet, cleanly, makes to you feel the emotions of both characters here.

I am glad to have clicked on this in spite of my expectations. Punctuation needs a little help --forgive me, I am a bit of a perfectionist-- but the story itself is solid. Keep up the good work if you plan on making any more stories.

245542 Thank you for pointing that out and thank you for liking it. Was listening to the song so many times while making this.

I can just imagine seeing Pinkie Pie through my slowly closing eyelids, desperately trying to listen to her unfinished answer. Pretty heartfelt story, dude. You win 4 free internetz!!!
