While stumbling around in the Ponyville Library, Wild comes across a dark tome. Upon sight, he picks it out and checks out. Lugging the book home, he runs into Chrono, who is immediately enthralled by the book. He follows Wild home and upon arrival, he flips through the book, casting random spells from the book. One such spell hits Wild, and releases an evil that could destroy all of Equestria.

Pinkie pie finds a strange crystal, and twilight and her friends find out that it is a moonstone, which, in a legend, can show your future. Twilight sees herself as an alicorn princess, and she goes on all extremes, such as dark magic and a acquaintance with King Sombra, in order to get it.

Magistar, the God of Death, has finally returned from his supposedly endless banishment. However, it quickly becomes clear why he was banished in the first place as he sets out to right a wrong made by his fellow gods thousands of years ago. But can this wrong ever be changed?

I InnerWisdom have found a new element of harmony. I call it the element of Knowledge. I must go on an adventure to find this element and to make sure my friends and my student find their Inner Peace.

Red Bolt has a pretty bad life. His dad left his mom. His mom passed away and his marefriend cheated on him. A mishap with his only friend Wind Breaker gets them kicked out of their apartment in Manehattan. Wind Breaker sees it as a fresh start for Red and him. I wonder what's going to happen to them.

A former archivist from Canterlot's royal library has gone rogue, setting off on a quest to the frozen north of Equestria to free an ancient spirit. In response, Princess Celestia calls on Twilight Sparkle and the other Elements of Harmony to stop him. But when this pony is a former student at Celestia's School For Gifted Unicorns and one of her most prized pupils, they may be in for more than they expected. Bonds will be tested and a long buried part of Equestria's past will be revealed.

Events take place sometime between "The Crystal Empire" and "Keep Calm and Flutter On."
