The Cutimark Crusaders frequently get into trouble, not everyone has a great appreciation for this.

This was my entry for the Iron Author competition at Everfree NW this year. The only changes that have been made since then are grammatical ones, and finishing a hanging sentence I forgot to cap off.

We had two hours to write a story under 2k words that had to include exactly 3 of the following: Manticores, The Market Place, Pushing the Envelope, and Stars and Stripes.

Applejack is a hardworking pony, it’s in her nature, but a cruel trait that comes with her hardworking is not worrying about herself. If she takes on too much work, she will overwork herself. This case is a little more severe than the others. After Apple Bloom falls ill and Big Mac is on a vacation, AJ is left to all the weeks work on the farm while also caring for a sickly Apple Bloom. This becomes very evident when she tries to hang out with Rainbow Dash, but ends up passing out from exhaustion. Dash, concerned, wonders what to do.

After living in Ponyville for almost a year, I finally became Fluttershy's coltfriend. My life couldn't get better.
Also, a little filly would become an apprentice of mine! Finally I had somepony to teach my knowledge in combat, and I couldn't let pass such an opportunity.

But one day, all that joy went to hell, as Fluttershy dissappeared one day. She was fillynapped!

This isn't a story with a happy ending folks. Today I shall tell you, how I lost the pony I once was; how my heart and my sword, finally were stained with blood.

Now under the pseudonym of "Hidden Dragon", Fluttershy must fight her way to the top of the heap to find T. and confront her on why she is doing this, but she must face her fears, a murderous Sleeper Agent and a Mortal Combat-style tournament roster to do so. Can she do it? You'll have to find out!
