Patch could not be happier, and through and through they are her parents.
They always know a story, a story that they know by heart. As story that follows her form her filly hood to a young mare. A story about a young Princess and a Good King and the baby Princess that was caught in the middle. Patch only took it as an amusing little fairy tale, but what Patch doesn't know is while all stories are true, some stories are real.

This is a crossover between G4 and G1.5, what some thought was G2.

Well, seems like that’s it! Just live long and happily with your beloved and no worries. But does it ever happen that everyone lives happily ever after? Only in fairy tales, I suppose. In reality, problems existed, exist, and always will! A friend dropped a problem in my lap, and now urgent necessity tears me away from my cozy spot, sending me racing headlong into a completely different, magical world full of colorful ponies. But even there, things aren’t all calm and rosy — my new friends need my help too.

disclamer: these are not children's fairy tales, these are old tales with an old fashion view of such things, you have been warned.

Nightmare Moon won, almost 1000 years ago. The ponies of Equestria have evolved into bat ponies, and one just wants to see the light of day that has been told in so many fairy tales and prophecies…

Angelic Wing is but a Pegasus, who wishes for a fairy tale ending.... But does she want the fate that is in store for her? Can her captors darkened mind be brought back to the light by her hoof, holding his tortured soul? Can she chip away the barrier around the creatures heart?

There is some Fluttercord in this story, but it's mostly about my OC and fantasy that I've created in my head. There is a little sex and gore in this story, just small references, but I wanted to warn you.

One night 8 years ago, Passion Bloom, Breaking Heart, and Apple Seed leave their homes to go looking for a mysterious red path at night from a book that sounds like its talking hooey, but only one manages to escape the forest and live to this day. Her name is Passion Bloom and she barely tells a soul about her sister, Breaking Heart, and even less about the colt she thought she loved, Apple Seed. She talks the least about her savior, an unidentified pony with red eyes and beautiful mane that couldn't be seen. However, she does talk about a book full a myths. She thought she wouldn't need to remember any of this. Lies.

When a simple myth, "fairy tales" become reality, how can anyone, especially the Mane 6, handle the burden, especially when it interferes with original beliefs and a certain crusader? What is this red path, and how connected are these myths to reality?

Passion Bloom: A filly at the time with yellow, white, and green streaked mane. She has a purple coat and green eyes. She's very smart, but lacks focus. She can't do magic either. She resembles a Passion Fruit Flower. She's a blank flank.
Apple Seed: His description isn't very clear, but he has yellow eyes and his coat is a lovely shade of yellow with a mane that is brown and black, like an apple seed. He has black freckles too. He loves Passion Bloom, but can't show it. He absolutely adores her. He's much older though, and he doesn't know what love is. Tricked by Breaking Heart. I can't say much without spoiling other chapters to come. We don't know if he died. He also has no cutiemark.
Breaking Heart:Careless, she's the definition of psychopath. Her cutiemark isn't said outright, but it is something that deals with BREAKING things. Her eyes are grey and so is her mane. (with the exception of pink and purple streaks that follow the grey) Her coat is light red too. She wasn't allowed (and able) to go to Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, but we don't know why yet. She's crazy. Nuff said.

Changelings are unheard of. They live as a myth, like a whisper in a child's ear. One might hear of them on passing, but for the most part, they are a fairy tale, and they know this. They prefer it. The less anyone knows, the better. If ponies don't know there's a strange species of insectoid creatures living right under their noses, then they'll never investigate.

Sometimes, there are changelings who simply want to live their own lives, away from their hive. Raise a family, start business, or even own a city, but in the hopes of living their own dreams rather than that of the hive. Not all changelings get this chance, and those who do, don't get to keep it for very long. There a good number of changelings who have succeeded in escaping their hive to live peacefully in pony society as a simple member of the community. One of those changelings is Amare Cadare, or as he is known as to the ponies: Steady Saunter, the blacksmith.

Amare would like nothing more than being able to shed a disguise permanently, though he is content with his life style. Deep down, he does wish he could reveal his true nature. One day, he gets his wish, but he doesn't exactly get what he was hoping for. After all, faith can be misplaced.

Every original character has a background story, and you’re about to read mine. For years and years I’ve tried to postpone writing this tale, for fear of diving up traumatic experiences and unpleasant memories. Yet one cold winter day, my brother enters my little cabin in the woods, and soon enough I find myself sitting behind my typewriter writing down what happened to me and him from beginning till end. I still don’t believe how I did that.

Indeed, my story is not a happy fairy tale where everything is bathed in sunshine and unicorns dance on the proverbial rainbows. In the beginning it does look like that, with my brother and I, our mother, the great herd of elks, deer, and reindeer, and the guarding of the Shimmering Eye making up the happiest part of my life. But very soon a game of predator and prey is played on a snowy and dark winter plain. After that, I end up in a very peculiar village, where I discover my true talent thanks to a very special somepony. Then love somehow wriggles itself into my life, followed closely by deceit. Believe me when I say the two go hoof in hoof. Next, I find myself abducted to another village, even stranger than the first, where I am forced to use my talents for a dictator’s regime. And what happens next…? You’ll have to discover that as you read.

Every story has a sliver of the writer’s soul in it, and in this story, I practically poured all of my soul. I hope it will help you to get to know me and my brother better. And if that is not your goal, then I hope it will teach you something. And if that too, is not your goal, then let me and my brother’s (mis)adventures at least entertain you from beginning till end.
