Twilight Sparkle finds herself being sent by Queen Celestia to Ponyvile to meet new friends. But these friends.... something’s wrong about them.

This story is a sequel to The Trials Of The Elements

Valiant has disappeared. As if that was not bad enough, now the other stallions have to meet the mares they are supposed to protect and all of them need to find their wayward friend. It is up to all of his friends to find him and bring him back, but something dark has awoken in his old town and it threatens all of Equestria. Join us in the conclusion of this exciting saga as we see the work of The Elements Of Equestria.

Note: I wrote this story just after season 3 finished, so there are some significant deviations from the show.

It's carnival time in Ponyville. Every-pony's going...every-pony except three little fillies. When the CMC yet again thought to look for their cutie marks they encounter an odd slight. A carnival. In the middle of the Everfree though. When looking around the strange carnival doors they are welcomed by an odd stallion. They without thinking buy tickets. Welcome to the carnival of shadows. In Ponyville Twilight Sparkle summons the black city. The Agents of the Throne now must forge all their resources to stop the impending Apocalypse. In the deep jungles of the Amarezon a necromancer rises. Secrets will now be revealed that will test the will and power of friendship.

Shell Song was just a singer in Ponyville, practically a no pony. She sang at small restaurants and weddings, but never really knew what she was aiming to do. Noctia was just an astronomer, but she knew what she wanted to do. To figure out what exactly ponies were doing in Equestria. Was there some place else out there?
These two unlikely friends set off to find there way up and over their usual surroundings. No matter what got in the way - Manticores, dragons, Ice demons - They would find some way to be free from dreadful pasts. Whether they can remember them or not.

Night Surfer is determined to go on a journey whether alone or with a friend, but what he wants most is to be with his crush Rainbow Dash but he hasn't gotten up the nerve to ask her if she wants hang out; Will he go on the journey alone, with Rainbow or with another pegasus? We shall see...

It's never been easy for Daniel Winters, particularly at home. But two things keep him going: his love for basketball and his father- the light in even the darkest of his days.

Basketball has always been an escape for Daniel. He lives in gray, broken Aurora, a city ruled by the gangs, drugs and violence. He’s always dreamed of getting out somehow with his mother and father. But until then, when he puts on his number 9, everything seems to make sense.

But as the year progresses, Daniel finds himself on his own in a new town and a new school. After losing his best friend and parents, he is hesitant to make new friends.

But he finds a few girls that help him change his life.
