After returning home after spending a few years at the Wonderbolt academy Gale winds is reunited with his childhood friends in PonyVille only to learn that great friendships can sometimes lead to even greater relationships.

When Wesley Quill of the Celestial Guard resigned from his position as an engineer, immediately after the changeling invasion, Princess Luna said something that inspired him, and comes back to bite her in the flank every once in a while.

Now this Earth pony is the leader of those who wish to shoot for the moon, and, much to Rainbow Dash's displeasure, has broken the sound barrier with a pony made device... which hit Luna's home on the moon with enough force to wake her up...

Rainbow Dash gets tired of being upstaged by everypony, she noticed that nopony wants her as a hero and everypony is pretty mad at Rainbow Dash for driving Mare Do Well away. So, she decided to switch sides.

This is story takes place weeks later after the Mare Do Well incident
