This is a story related to my other fanfic, "Are You Kidding?! There's PORN of Us?!" It's meant as a silly little side-story before I decide on what to do for an actual sequel.

Applejack and Rarity decide to host a dramatic reading of bad fanfiction written by Apple Bloom. How long will they last before it becomes too much?

A very special holiday is coming up in Ponyville, and everyone is getting ready to spend the day with the mare or colt that they love... except for one. Poor Fluttershy is all alone. She had once been in love, to be sure, but that was back in Cloudsdale, he has been gone for a long time now, and this time of year only serves to remind her of what she once had.

But that was then, and this is now, and now she has friends who care about her and don't want to see her suffer any more. And now they are on a mission; to find the colt Fluttershy loved, and still loves, and bring him back to her, forever.

Twilight Sparkle considers her owly assistant, Owlowicious, an invaluable helper and a wonderful friend.

But what if he's more than he initially seems?

The history books tell many tales of the great Star Swirl the Bearded, one of Equestria's most famous and talented unicorn wizards. But suspiciously, they are quiet on what ultimately became of the skillful stallion. Is there anypony who might know his ultimate fate?

Just one, and he says, "Hoo!"

In Equestria's distant past, before Celestia and Luna ruled, a magical experiment will be performed that will forever change the fate of Star Swirl the Bearded and help create the one and only Owlowicious we all know and love today.

This is their tale.

As with everything I write (unless otherwise noted), this takes place in what I shall officially call the Peregrine Fanonverse. The rules are simple: the show and all creator (Faust) canon is law, absolute fact not to be ignored or contradicted. Everything I write takes place in the same universe. This means references may be made to other stories on the occasion. But I will do my best to keep individual stories set apart enough to not be a problem. One detail about this story specifically: transcribing an episode is tiring work, so I stopped this at a natural ending point. An unseen thief snuck into Ponyville in order to steal the horns off of all the unicorns, disabling their magic. Twilight must capture the thief before her own horn is stolen too, but how can she catch a thief who is practically invisible?

Ponyville's second Superb Owl party is today, but the Cutie Mark Crusaders took issue with that in rhyme, and tried to trap him. Owlowiscious won't let them stop the big game!

This story can easily be read without reading the prequel.

The Great and Powerful Trixie is no longer so great or powerful. In fact, she is destitute. A chance meeting in Ponyville's restaurant gives Twilight Sparkle the urge to do right by her former rival.

However, Princess Celestia objects to Twilight taking an apprentice of her own. How will Twilight fare in the large horseshoes of a teacher instead of just being a student?

Alowicious "Owl" Nocturnus has always wanted to be a pilot in the Equestrian Mech Program. But after failing to qualify, he settles as a technician, helping to maintain the machines at their Canterlot base.
After he is accidentally run through a training simulation, however, the AI Twilight Sparkle selects him to be her pilot, sending him down a path he thought lost to him.

However, a dark force is rising in the nation of Griffonia. One which seeks vengeance for past wrongs. One which desires to see Canterlot, and all of Equestria, fall.

Despite still not having completed his training, Owl must lead a squad of fellow misfit pilots to take on Griffonia. But with a team consisting of a glory hog, a overcautious prodigy, an antisocial loner, a mute orphan, and a depressed alcoholic, the job might be harder than expected.

NOTE: The prologue consists of worldbuilding and a little bit of context, but otherwise has little to do with the main story. Characters within the prologue will not persist beyond it. Feel free to skip the prologue if you feel you can pick up the situation from context.

Takes place after "Owl's well that ends well". Twilight talks to Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie about how much they've been paying more attention to Owlicious than Spike, and she tells them to apologize to him.
