Oh. and apparently the writer for the third Equestria Girls movie had no idea what the season finale for S5 of MLP was. . .so I guess its just a coincidence that he thought of a time loop thing when the finale is that Starlight changes time.

It looks like Season 9 will be the last season of Friendship is Magic.

I suppose we should be happy we had this long of run, happy that we got to fall in love with so many great characters in an amazing setting. We should be happy for the people we met and the friends we gained. I guess I should be thankful, but it still hurts to know that the end is coming.

So I realized part of what was keeping me from being able to do the next chapter of Empire was I was attempting to intersperse two different types of narrative. There were two scenes in the chapter which just didn't fit right, and one is just too good to cut entirely, so it'll be moved to the following chapter and be the foundation of that chapter's narrative (and shaping most of the plot for that chapter, too). Watched yesterday's episode. Screamed a bit.

Since i just marathoned pretty much everything in the past few months, this was a huge shocker. I never thought they would get their cutie marks. I thought the cartoon would do as cartoons do and keep the status quo. I guess i should have learned after princess Twilight, huh?
