Well it's that time again. That time where you sit in a chair with your mouth gaped open while they poke, prod and drill away whilst you sit there calmly and-GET ME OUTTA HERE!!!

26 years old and I still fear the dentist.
AGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!
Aside from the cramped jaw and sore gums I'm great!! And my teeth are shiny!
MY SHINY TEETH AND MEEEE!!!
All 4 'wisdom' teeth + 1 decayed inside. Due to an infection, the anesthetic did not work on the 2 lower teeth. While one of those lower teeth was being pulled up, the top snapped off and he had to pry up up the lower part. While he was doing that, one of the roots snapped off and he had to dig it out. It hurt so much that I was shaking and sweating in the chair, and I even briefly cried. I had to put my clothes in the laundry because they got soaked in sweat.
That is all.
So, after the better part of two weeks of intense pain I finally got into my dentist on Friday, who was able to extract the cause of my problems after an epic 90 minute battle. Like I plan to, the tooth did NOT go "gently into that good night." I am now out of the worst of my pain and am healing now. Writing has recommenced but I am not up to full throttle as yet.
Gotta say I was scared after seeing how the procedure was done but surprisingly it was not all that painful. Wish I had asked to keep the tooth though.

When searching for dentists near you, there are several important factors to consider. Here are some key things to look for:
So, I've kind of made it a tradition to read some sort of scary and/or well known fanfic for Halloween. Last year, I read Rainbow Factory, and this year I chose Cupcakes.
Now, in honor of the Halloween spirit, I stayed up late to read it. In fact, it's not been too long since I finished it. And when I finished, I found out something.
I am a horrible person.
Okay, that might be an exaggeration, but I... I laughed at it. I laughed... at Cupcakes. I just.. found it darkly funny.

Chapter 16 of Infinite Potential iiiiiis... done! Yep, finished him two days ago, actually, but when I finished it it was middle of the night so hadn't had the time to write a blog post, then the next day I had some paperwork stuff to do for work so once that was done I wasn't in mood for more writing, sooo I'm telling you now! Anyway, it's now being looked over by my editing/proofreading team, not quite sure when they'll finish, hopefully before the end of May.
Jesus Christ this mouth thing is the worst I've ever had.
I was at the dentist yesterday. Because of a particular, severe pain in the entire right half of my mouth. I thought of something rather benevolent as the cause, but as it is the case so often, reality is much worse. It turned out that my upper-right wisdom tooth is making problems. It caused a huge, blue swelling on my gums right next to it and that is where the pain comes from. According to the dentist I saw yesterday, the only way to fix this is to get the tooth removed. How's that for a six
There is some good news now. I've been at a first dentist appointment on Tuesday to get a preliminary examination and when the exact tooth that causes the problem was identified, it turned out that it's not a wisdom tooth (or molar, like they are also called, thank you pony author whose vocabulary is bigger than mine), but the second-to-last tooth on the upper right side. Which means, that the tooth doesn't have to go out.
Fucking shit, I’m getting feeling self-conscious now that I’m writing the blog. I feel like I gotta meet some expectations or something – which is mighty weird, let me tell you. Usually I write blogs like I break wind in a classroom: whatever happens, happens, and if people look at you weird you just do the fingergun thing and crack a joke. Fuck it, I smell anyway, so who’s gonna care.
