Hello, everyone!
With Ponyville Mysteries exhausted, we turn to… well, not quite the Equestrian Suicide Squad. That was the Season 6 finale. Perhaps their take on Justice League Dark (which I’m given to understand is like the Justice League but without milk chocolate, ergo, no Discord.)
I asked readers in yesterday’s blog post as to whether they’d like a Nightmare Night side story containing tales of the corruption and conversion of various background ponies, and the answer was a resounding yes. But for it, I’ll have to delay the launch of the final main story chapter I had ready for now so I can launch the new story concurrent with its release. Have to find some artwork, and quickly come up
The next Nightmare Night chapter is well underway at already 4000 words long with one section completed. I'm aiming for a release within a week, and this next entry will be all about Luna. It is my intention to take her to the very edge of temptation and conversion to see if she can withstand it, having a lot of fun along the way. By direct request of Redmar--who I thank greatly for always commenting on each chapter--we'll also be checking in with Twilight's old classmates (Lemon Hearts,
Thanks to some scheduling hiccups–more dry heaves, really—we’re still looking at Pony Life. I’m also taking suggestions for future card blogs. See here for details. But for now, let’s dive in.
Well, folks, I’ve been writing a lot over the past week, but I’ve been splitting my attention between the next Midnight Rising chapter and Feathered Hearts. The former was coming frustratingly slowly as I couldn’t seem to find the correct angle for it, while the latter was coming quite quickly. I was working on the next main story chapter and thought it might be ready within days.
As my surgery pain fades, my libido surges, so it’s time for me to keep a promise and return to the Unleash the Magic series in the leadup to Halloween anniversary of Nightmare Night. And that means, both it and Midnight Rising are going to be worked on almost exclusively over the next several weeks.
Bit of an amusing note on “P.P.O.V.” Given all the talk of getting ponies out of their element, I think it’s appropriate that the three had very little laughter, honesty, or generosity among them upon their return.
And on that note, let’s look at a time when Applejack was a long cry from exemplifying Honesty…
Well, folks--it’s almost time. For those who are curious, I’m getting a midline glossectomy tomorrow to reduce the size of my tongue, and thus, its blockage of my airway during sleep. And yes, it’s every bit as fun as it sounds.
...when you've played Mega Man 9 and had Wily's Fortress piss you so much that you've sworn to make an animation taking the pee pee out of the poo poo game, but you've only done one scene of animation so far and right now you just want to sit on your bed with the girl of your dreams and watch stupid stuff on YouTube together, cozy and warmly snuggled up with one another...
This week, we return to Hoofington for more of the adventures of Trailblazer. Last time, she met and—through audience participation—wooed a wide-eyed bat pony who’s just as eager to explore the world. Let’s see where her road takes us next.
This week, we return to the Berrow catalogue. While the previous entry offers the closest thing we have to Cadence’s canonical backstory, this one has actually been referenced in the show. Ponypalooza’s mentioned in “The Mane Attraction,” among other details. Let’s begin.
I launched Harmonic Resonance yesterday, and I’m honestly stunned by how poorly it did. Equestria Girls clopfics usually do well, or so I thought; I truly believed this was a surefire feature. I’m honestly not sure what I did wrong in terms of marketing it, either in the story description or the groups I added it to. If anybody has thoughts, feel free to share them.
Well. That happened. And I mean that in the best way. Part of why I wrote an Anon-a-Miss fic so long after the fact was because I wanted to get it out before canon did “Sunset’s friends turn on her” right. I didn’t know it would go this right. Let’s begin.
Welcome to the hiatus, folks, or as I like to think of it, the time when fan work gets a chance to breathe. Normally, I’d be cardifying the IDW comics to fill the time, but at the moment, I do still have a video backlog. Namely, the Equestria Girls Summertime Shorts.
Well everyone, I finally did it... I watched the last episode. I watched the series finale of MLP Gen 4. I was holding back for so long because I didn't want to say "goodbye" to a show that has touched me deep within. This show has introduced me to amazing content, other amazing creators, and made a few good friends along the way. I am not ashamed to admit that I was crying my eyes out. I cried for the fact that the show itself grew and it was like we all grew up along with it. I also cried
And so we close out Season 7. It’s been the Season of Family, the Season of Legend… and undeniably the Season of Leaks. Yeesh. Still, now that everyone’s had a chance to see this, let’s discuss it in detail.
This week, Hasbro teases me by putting a Wizards of the Coast IP and card games in the episode. Just not at the same time.
