Upcoming writing schedule + looking for a signal boost... · 3:36pm Dec 6th, 2021
I launched Harmonic Resonance yesterday, and I’m honestly stunned by how poorly it did. 
Equestria Girls clopfics usually do well, or so I thought; I truly believed this was a surefire feature. I’m honestly not sure what I did wrong in terms of marketing it, either in the story description or the groups I added it to. If anybody has thoughts, feel free to share them.
Nevertheless, as this is a commission and I don’t give up on stories just for having a weak launch, Harmonic Resonance will continue to be written with an aim for releases every 4-6 weeks around my other stuff. As for my upcoming writing, I plan to work on another Feathered Hearts chapter or two next to bring it to the brink of the Cloven War, followed by part 2 of the Sour Sweet scene in Midnight Rising.
If all goes well—and I know by now that’s never a sure thing—I’d like to get them both out around Christmas as my gifts to readers.
But for readers of Midnight Rising in particular, I invite you to check out Harmonic Resonance. It is, after all, another Equestria Girls story that’s only about half a notch below Unleash the Magic in terms of M-rated insanity, and you’ll find most of your favorite fetishes within it.

Don’t let the ratio scare you, as people seem more apt than ever to downvote on the basis of M-rated content alone. It’s very well-written and I think I did Fluttershy’s ascension to Daydream form justice in the first full chapter. You also get a prelude chapter bonus of the Humane 7 teasing the hell out of Trixie. Seriously, if you like Midnight Rising, you should like this as well. So give it a read and drop it a like if you enjoy it. Comments are invited as well.
If I had any explanation for the low numbers, I'd certainly tell you. I like to think I'm a pretty savvy guy when it comes to the site meta of fimfiction but the low engagement completely baffles me.
Just a minor answer, I feel sometimes clopfics with a prelude or intro often get pushed back a bit. I know I have put off reading it as I didn’t feel like 12k words at the moment. Even though I know I’ll like it when I do get around to reading it.
Also, I refuse to upvote or downvote something I haven’t read. Again, even though I’m sure I’ll like it. I’m sure those who downvote without reading have any such compulsion.
