Many things, but I do have a plan for once.
Not all of it of course but most of it is here
Hope that will tide you guys over knowing that I do work on writings in my spare time from uni.
We're at the cusp of the end of Act I y'all, and it's time to start getting intense. When I was writing this Interludes, it was designed as a series of essentially simultaneous (or as good as makes no difference) scenes as the Legion finally moves and makes an attack of their own. Therefore, the interlude was three separate scenes with three points of view, the first being from Sour Sweet's POV.
Updates may be a bit slower than usual because my laptop's screen is going out (covered by spazzing pink lines) so I am using my tablet...which I type a bit slower on....although on a plus note I can at least take this with me wherever so I can work on things in my spare time.
Hello, 14th C Friar fans (and fans of other stories, as this applies to those as well). Just a quick update here:
I'm not dead, and neither are my active stories.
Life has been, in a word, "complihectibusycated." I've had a lot on my plate that's just been... a lot, and that has significantly sapped my energy and ability to lose myself in the writing process. I've barely strung two words together for anything remotely related to creative writing for, well, a painfully long time.
I love how geeky the Seattle area is.
...I'm not dead.
Shocking, yes, I know. I haven't done much of anything on this site for two months now, haven't I?
So a few months ago, one of my editors had to resign from his editorial work due to the lack of time he had to edit anything. Now I'm down one editor and in need of a new one.
So far Dragonoidsix is my only editor and while I trust him completely in finding grammatical errors, I just prefer having two in case something happens.
Guys, I need to talk to you about something.
First, you probably noticed that a fuck-ton of things on my fic Guardians of the Aura are based and/or references to games, memes, and even other fanfics. If you think that I stole them by using on my fic, shut the fuck up and accept this fact:
NOTHING IS ORIGINAL ANYMORE.
See below the break to understand why I'm saying this.
With everyone being stuck inside, I was curious to see if there would be an uptick in site activity. There isn't. The fandom has just continued to fall precipitously after the dismal finale. This is different that any other major fandom. Hell, even "Bleach" maintained its fandom, and the anime is unexpectedly coming back.
Now after being on fimfiction for so long I have yet to find a stories about Evil dead and mad max. Don't get me wrong some do exist but just not enough. Than it came to me what would happen if someone made a sort of displaced story of evil dead and mad max or a story of ash Williams and Mad Max coming to the pony universe to stop a mad dictator who is in possession of the necronomicon. If anyone is able to make this a possibility please let me know so I can read it and follow it.
Hello! No I haven't given up on Requisite hope just yet, I've been trying to weave things together to make some original characters work properly with twilight and Celestia in chapter three.
But while I was forming drafts and Brainstorming, I had a fun idea to do a second displaced story involving a character from the idw sonic comics. I'm not gonna say who, but I'm going to be reading, re reading, and re re reading to make sure I get their energy right.
So I'm going to have to write both Dead Tree and the 2nd Book for Here, There Be Dragons at the same time.
1 Chapter every other week. If I want to finish both before the end of the year.
To that end, I'm going to ask a simple question
Who all here even knew I wrote another Original Series while Dead Tree has been on Hiatus?
I was just passing the time watching some YouTube videos, as one does when they know they've got lots of things to do but don't really want to just yet. Anyways, besides all the other fun people I subscribe to, there's this grizzled mechanic who works on Audis and VWs and other fancy furrin cars that occasionally gets my interest. Mostly when he talks about improvised tools or why you should save money and buy your tools from Amazon instead of the tool truck, that kind of thing.
