So... Ali ditzed, didn't look at the schedule, and missed her Friday morning shift, forcing MomCord to cover it... Fffuuuuuuuuu--
And then she had her car towed so she wasn't able to work her Saturday morning shift either, making Snowfire cover it... Fffuuuuuuuuu--
And she couldn't get her car out yesterday, so Snowfire couldn't just do a shift-trade with Ali so she'd have a day off and not go into overtime... Fffuuuuuuuuu--
Good afternoon my lovely angels!
It's been a while I have to admit. But I am going to endevour to be more active here regardless of me feeling bad about myself and the things that I do. So lets start with something that I have been putting off for a month now, new year’s resolutions!
Hopefully, anyway. It's not quite done yet. I have--I think--about 1-2k words left to write on a chapter that's already approaching 10k words. Major M-rated action ahead, folks, but no teasers or spoilers as to the who or what--it's the kind of chapter where I'd rather people come in cold and be surprised; get it full force. And for those who prefer the story plot to the other kind, don't worry--expect a surprise cameo, a decent amount of worldbuilding and character development,
So I don't know how it happened.... but my fic Armoured Hearts has just featured! Like... what the actual...
I'm lost for words, I'm shaking, and acting like a psycho because people like my random crazy writings. I have no idea how I deserved a readership like you guys, honestly, I love every single one of you all and I just wanna hug everyone (I'm a little emotional right now xD)
So, I started my revisions on When the Wall Breaks Down, but I've run into an issue: chapter two sucks ass. there aren't any major flaws in the chapter that I can find. In fact, it was one of the better edited chapters I've had to revise ever! But Jesus, man... it's just painful to read. So, temporarily, I will be putting a few other projects on hold until i can write up a better second chapter.
These halted projects include:
My crossover fic,
Death and Harmony,
It's about half-done at 4000 words right now. To perhaps little surprise, I've had trouble getting back into the mood to write clop with all the crap happening in the world around us, but to that I tell myself that escapes are just made all the more important. So the work goes on.
After another view of the site rules I've come to realize that part of the blog series planned violates one of the rules. As such my editor The Superior Soundwave will no longer be taking an active part in the running of this account out side of their original job as editor of the posted stories (when they get posted). So from now on the only one who will be interacting with the general audience will be me. Though you will be seeing some of 'Wave's opinions along side my own when we do Sugar
So, hello. I'm glad to be here. While the title of this missive still holds very true for matters ranging from "What is appropriate blogging content," to "How do I do physics," I really am happy to finally be getting my weird, kinda funny fanfiction out into the world.
Heyo guys!
It's been 47 days since the last chapter was released, and for that I am really sorry. Thankfully it is not because of a lost of interest, or writer's block. It is simply time that has been an issue.
Get hyped for the first chapter of the Midway movie viewing, folks. If you need some help getting psyched, have some Sabaton:
Make that two chapters, since the total length of what I’ve written is 22.5k words, and likely to be closer to 25k when all is said and done. Yep, this chapter just kept growing and growing. In the end, that’s way too big for a single clop chapter, and I have a natural breakpoint in the middle. So it is officially getting broken up, but at least that means you’ll be getting two new chapters in fairly short order.
Happy New Year Everyone!
Sorry my updates have been far in between, I just am not a fast writer. This year though I’m hoping to be more productive with Pony-related content!
First of all, daily updates on my Pony Tumblr (http://askdaisydandfriemly.tumblr.com/ ). And...
you can see my update schedule here: http://askdaisydandfriemly.tumblr.com/updates
Hit 250 likes! Thank you, one and all!!!
Finally getting back in the groove on Lightbearers, thanks to finding some tools that have helped me to organize my notes in a far more effective manner than previously. I'm still well behind my intended schedule for an early-summer first draft; but at this rate hope to have it written sometime around mid-summer, and to start publishing around the end of the year. We'll see if the revised schedule holds up, or if things get pushed back even farther. I'm certainly not planning to rush this
All right; all done with finals -- which means I can get back to focusing on other stuff! Of course, that includes What Lies Within. I've already made some progress on the next chapter and I have some stuff planned out (though it's probably going to change; it always does) so I can just focus on actually putting (figurative) pen to (figurative) paper!
Fans of Into the Storm will be happy to know that there are not one but two new chapters underway, each with major sections guest-written (one by Leo Archon and another by AJ_Aficionado--thanks, guys!). At least one will be slated to launch on the story's two-year anniversary of September 1st.
Well, having knocked all but one writing to-do item off my list for November, we move into December with yet another ambitious schedule. We're finishing off the TAS revamp, doing at least two new chapters for Unleash the Magic: Nightmare Night, and hopefully at least one for Flight of Firefly, as well as work on my anthro novel. In between all that, I also have a bunch of stuff to preread for several different people; I believe that list is now four authors and eleven chapters
Hello,
Now as you may have gathered from the last I dunno ten? or so blogs I rather like writing something- and then life happens and I stop writing- now that's primarily from a whole lot of issues- interest, drive, depression, general borderline personality disorder type stuff (a rather interesting read for a mental hula hoop that doesn't get talked about a lot- even with the problematic name)
As it happens, there are multiple pieces of good news and bad news on it.
