I heard from one of my readers that they really liked my story, but that the ending felt like an insult to the readers. Having gone back over it and looking at it from their perspective, I can see how that could be interpreted as such. I did not intend to insult my readers, but it seems the method I used to conclude the story is something that is generally considered, um, frustrating.
Jinglemas is officially started and god I’m struggling with characterization because I did not watch the MLP Movie (the one with the Storm King not the new one) but this is fine everything is fine
“So… why are we doing this again?”
“Because Melody’s making us.”
“No! We’re doing this because it’s fun!”
“So far it hasn’t been fun.”
“Okay, so maybe you got beat up last time-”
“Wait, what?”
“-But this time, you’re doing it with Tempest, she wouldn’t hurt her own boyfriend.”

"Hey losers, when you finish your trash talking, care to notice that I've almost won?"

The rarely-seen one-eyed b-- That sounds lewd.
I'm updating several of my scripts with new features, fixes, and based on the meagre response to my post on Sunday (It's not too late! You can still post other quote suggestions and I'll put them into later updates) I've added all the quotes suggested people had from the from the movie.
Brave story chapter 3 is up (though anyone reading this likely already knows) planning for the next chapter is in process right now.
Tempest's next chapter is still resting with Prosopeio to edit but he's been busy. It's a bit of an odd duck chapter but should be fun. Really excited to put it up when it's ready

I just got out of the theater. Actually not kidding, that was probably the best movie I've seen in four or five years.
Emily Blunt in particular did a S P E C T A C U L A R job with Tempest Shadow's voice acting. Literally, perfection. New ironic pone waifu?
...Maybe. Time will tell. In the mean time, you scrublords better go see the movie.
First off, I've been thinking about making a One Piece and My Little Pony crossover. Something of an AU where Luffy and his crew live in Equestria.
Second, I wanna do a Tempest-centric story that takes places after the movie. Nothing too big, just a one-shot.

My Little Pony: The Movie (2017)

The most disappointing thing about this film is that with a few tweaks, it could be something spectacular, extending beyond the limits of the show into new territory. As is, My Little Pony: The Movie is only average at its best, dumbed down from the show at worst. It feels like a flashier version of a two parter.
Broken and Kydra looked at Tempest, who was laying in an infirmary bed. Luckily, she sustained no severe injuries.
“Why you Blue do this?” Kydra’s voice finally broke the silence.
“I... I don’t know...” Tempest said.
Broken thought for a bit. “He’s been using that new Psycho thing...”
“You think that’s it?”
“Probably...”
Meanwhile...
Blue looked at the syringe. Then he looked at the pony who made him drop his ice cream. He stuck the syringe in again.
