A Hearth's Warming Hoof Made The Feature Box!

Sweet Celestia, it finally happened! After years and years of writing stories, I finally made the feature box!
I realize it might not seem like much to some, it matters a great deal to me to know that people enjoyed my story!

So on 12/20/2023, one of my stories finally made the feature box! :rainbowkiss::applejackconfused:

It's short and (mostly) sweet, and I hope you enjoy it, my friends.

    I love Christmas.
    I love Hearth's Warming.
    I love AppleDash.

    Pen to Paper

Hello friends, it's been a while, a lot has happened since I last finished "A Tempest Tossed," to a smattering of applause and some disappointment, I'm sure. A Tempest Tossed Back in the Frying Pan! · 5:33am Dec 30th, 2018

I heard from one of my readers that they really liked my story, but that the ending felt like an insult to the readers. Having gone back over it and looking at it from their perspective, I can see how that could be interpreted as such. I did not intend to insult my readers, but it seems the method I used to conclude the story is something that is generally considered, um, frustrating.

Now, I may not be the best writer, or the most prolific, but I'll be *yay* if I'm going to let my readers down with a bad ending, especially one that is considered a terrible idea across the board. I mean, it's not Patrick Duffy in the shower bad, but it's... you know what, maybe it is that bad. So, let me try again.

"A Tempest Tossed" is back open, for at least one more chapter, while I dig myself out of the hole I made.
