Right, back in February, I made a blog post about a... 'little' project that I was working on. Something that has been a bit consuming as of late because I want it to look right before posting it.
Fet, this project's uploading was delayed due to the fact that I was waiting on someone to help me turn three pictures of it into an animated GIF.
And some stuff happened in between that bothered me on a personal level. Stuff better not talked about because it doesn't really matter.

You know that type of fan-fiction? That's actually decently good on its own merits, the author quite clearly has a lot of love for the material, but s/he just~ can't seem to nail the original tone?
Well, give it a Hollywood budget, a script solid enough to get some of the big name stars to come work with you, and that's about it, really.
I’ve tweaked Twilight’s card a bit on the second chapter of Twilight’s Spark. Before, her -1 said “discard a card, then draw two cards.” Now, it says “you may discard a card. If you do, draw two cards.”
Watched the first episode for the first time on Toonami last night. Spent all night and most of the day binge-watching when I wasn't, y'know, sleeping, and am up to about episode 20.
Nobody seems to have drawn Big Macintosh as All Might yet. Somebody should get on that.
When I made the card for Princess Luna in My Little Planeswalker: Sideboard Stories, I gave her hexproof but completely forgot that Luna’s Defeat(seen in Shattered Sunset as I designed it before was something that was meant to be able to target her.
As such, I’ve now changed the text of Luna’s Defeat to have a different text. The new text is as follows:

I really like it.
Granted, it wasn't perfect or amazing. But it was a solid movie, had some great stuff in it, and I definitely didn't almost start crying at that one part (you know the one if you've seen it). I give it a solid 8.5/10.
Go see it. Seriously, go see it in the theater.
One piece of advice I can give, though (and which isn't a spoiler) is to remember when this movie was written. I believe they first started work on it around the middle of season four, maybe even earlier.

Yesterday I watched the movie with my sister and my niece, who is all of two. My niece sat on my lap for most of the movie, mesmerized. She didn't seem scared at any point, but she did start to get bored about an hour into it, and turned around to look at me and play with my necklace.
Just saw it. It was really good, just as I expected.
Starting today, all cards in future My Little Planeswalker chapters will be replaced with Colossal Dreadmaw:

I just saw the most awesome thing ever !!!!
It felt a little weird, Like I shouldn't of been there at all. But I don't care, I still wanted to go see this movie anyways. When I went into the theater there were actually cosplayers of twilight sparkle who were seeing the movie as well. Ehh, there was a few men in the theater room as well, so I didn't feel too out of place. Everyone seemed to go in groups, But I went by myself.

A new Equestrian Blog is up and I wanted to take a brief break from Gen 4 to ask a question most don't ask. Whatever happened to Generation II? It's just a topic I rarely see anyone throw around like it never existed. It does seem like a strange case considering MLP was popular in the 80s compared to the 90s. Gen II is diffidently an anomaly but what is it about this era that has me want to discuss it? Well in this editorial I will go over what potentially might be the reason it was
Definitively, a very pretty movie - as long as you don't look at the ponies' eyes; Voicework is great - I really liked Emily Blunt's; and the music is what one would expect; . Yet it somehow doesn't even seem like "MLP:FiM" to me - similar, but not the real deal. Most of the characters felt bland and flat. The story was so-so. I think it was even tamer than the show itself. Maybe they played it too safe.
Overall, Six out of Ten.
