Right, back in February, I made a blog post about a... 'little' project that I was working on. Something that has been a bit consuming as of late because I want it to look right before posting it.
Fet, this project's uploading was delayed due to the fact that I was waiting on someone to help me turn three pictures of it into an animated GIF.
And some stuff happened in between that bothered me on a personal level. Stuff better not talked about because it doesn't really matter.
However.
However. It's time. This blog post is most likely going to be broken up into six blog posts due to the fact that my 40 drawing project turned into a story sprawling over 54 pages that are all hand drawn and done using traditional medium and was inspired by the song that was credited at the end of Heartbroken, (the first book), which was Matchbox 20's "Unwell".
If you listen to the song while looking at these images, you'll find that they match up pretty well to the lyrics.
All of this was done because it keeps me sharp on my art skills. Because it's fun for the fans of my work. And because this is something that was stuck in my head from the very beginning of my story I wanted to illustrate.
And for those sharp eyed fans who can see through the colourful smudges that I've dare to call artwork, you might catch some call backs, easter eggs and foreshadowing details hidden within!
So, consider This blog post to be the forewarning of what's to come!
