A few thoughts on The Movie.

Definitively, a very pretty movie - as long as you don't look at the ponies' eyes; Voicework is great - I really liked Emily Blunt's; and the music is what one would expect; . Yet it somehow doesn't even seem like "MLP:FiM" to me - similar, but not the real deal. Most of the characters felt bland and flat. The story was so-so. I think it was even tamer than the show itself. Maybe they played it too safe.
Overall, Six out of Ten.

• Visually, it is quite impressive but I can't stomach the generic, basic, pony design -- specially the eyes. The design of Canterlot: not bad.
• Tempest, surely you saw this coming? And don't tell me you didn't.
• Capper, I see you dumped all your points into Charisma.
• Skystar! You best hippogryph, and best hippocamp! You so cute!! But please, lay down the sugar, girl, you're talking to inanimate objects...
• Caelano.... I got nothing...
• Songbird Serenade... meh....
• Storm King, so you daddy was a monkey and your mommy a goat, or something? Grogar fanboy? Dunno...
• Twilight.... Seriously, you of all ponies?!
• Fizzlepop Berrytwist... *snort* Hahahaha!
