If you've been stalking me, you would've seen a blog post I had up for about a day before deleting it. I'm rather open about my personal stuff, but I do try to draw a line to prevent any unnecessary drama. The post I'm referring to was one announcing I lost my last job with no notice.

Yeah, so... I lost my job at Walmart. I'm shocked but not as much as I thought it would be. It stings a bit.
So what does that mean? Well, that means that I've opened a new book in my life. I'm on the first page which is blank so I'm going to fill it in now.
Writing is my full-time job

I have been thinking of my future. Some of you may or may not know that I have been busy with studies lately. Recently ((last Wednesday)) I passed Signals 2 after Signals 1. It's a university course that I had been having trouble with. There are two lessons/courses remaining for me.

Okay so I have some news (I need a better word, I'm starting to sound redundant). So remember that job interview I told you guys about the other day, well, I got a call from them! I start training tomorrow! After seven months of unemployment, I finally can get back to work! I'll be having a front desk job at a hotel! So when I go to BronyCon, I get to have a discounted room since I'm an employee! YEAH!
Hey everyone, I decided to update you all on the matter I've been dealing with since the tail-end of January.
Getting seriously excited for seeing Rogue One. I think it's going to be perfect.
You know why? Because even the negative reviews are making me eager to see it. Some of these older reviewers need to seriously consider retirement, good lord.
So if some of you don't know, I am a game designer. I went to college for it, I've been three years as Indie, and at last I have scored a six month contract as a QA Tester with Epic Games in Cary, NC. This was actually all confirmed awhile ago, but now I'm addressing it since I plan on moving to the new state on the 12th and starting my first day on the 14th.
IN WHICH I ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING
To my two loyal readers -- maybe three at this point? -- you can't say I don't keep my promises. I said I would finish the initial draft of my newest Burritoverse story, entitled Rarity Pays For Burritos, before the weekend, and I have done so. Word-count-wise it falls right smack in the middle of my Burrito stories ("Adagio" and "Aria" being shorter; "Sunset" and "Sonata" being longer).
Omg, so like I know it's been over several months since I've been posting things on here. But I have a really freaking good reason~! 
I just got... HIRED~!!!! 
Like, as a Freelance GD. Which is a BIG step for me.
I think I'm making progress on the story now. I've actually got an idea for what happens next: the final length of track on this stretch of railroad. And while I'm at it, that gets me to thinking: there's a lot of stuff I didn't cover in The Early Life of Blueblood, stuff like Blueblood at prom, Cadance's friends coming to meet her at Canterlot, Blueblood's career. Now granted, these ideas came after I tried to get one chapter a month out of the story and I was trying to go in order.
This is a little late in coming, but last Friday I officially quit my job at Walmart and have moved to a desk job for construction company! It's an hour drive to-and-from and starts early in the day, but it pays more, so huzzah fresh starts! So in light of that, I figure I will go ahead and publish my entry in the Gen 5 Bingo Contest before hurrying off to bed. It's very in keeping with spooky month, I say.

SO... here's the Down Low on things.
The parents (well one of the parents) got on my butt about job hunting. Which I neglected for a bit b/c I was happy where I was... then I realized i'm not exactly in a great place career wise.
So I'm kinda trying to get a full time job and my part time contract is up and my organization, a non-profit is being very very weird about whether they'll extend me or not (they haven't hired the person that will make the decision apparently :P ).
It's the very first job I've ever had and I'm absolutely grateful for the opportunity that was given to me. I'll always remember the convenience of having to go to my workplace which is just 2 minutes away from home. I'll miss my colleagues and I'm sure they'll miss me, but I won't miss the two assholes who took advantage of me. Now that the 20s decade is coming, I'm off to a new chapter of my life, ready to learn new things and make mistakes along the way.
