New Job At Epic Games (No Really, I Am)

So if some of you don't know, I am a game designer. I went to college for it, I've been three years as Indie, and at last I have scored a six month contract as a QA Tester with Epic Games in Cary, NC. This was actually all confirmed awhile ago, but now I'm addressing it since I plan on moving to the new state on the 12th and starting my first day on the 14th.

Obviously, I'm going to be one very busy guy planning and preparing to move and all. As such, I'll still have time for writing occasionally, as well as working on comics, but for the most part, at least for the rest of this month, I'm putting some fics on hold until the next year when I'm settled in. The following fics will continue:
-Dazzling Sun
-Dance of the Mash
-Little Sun
-Aftermath of a Fallen Star

The rest will continue next year. I'll let you know how things are doing and such, but this is a big deal for me and the start of my career hopefully.

And before anybody asks NO! I will not be sharing any details of any games I work on or know while in this company.

I'm going through the "trying to graduate and find a job far away" phase myself, so I can definitely relate to some of the stresses you've probably been going through lately.

Haha. Well, I'm an engineer, not a game developer, so "indie" isn't really an option. I suppose that working at a startup might be similar, but I have no plans to do that right now. I've just been interviewing with nice, big companies with fairly stable jobs and decent pay.

Yeah, you're going to have to be more specific. Unity and Unreal Engine are good for making complete games from scratch. If you want to make an RPG quickly, I recommend RPG Maker, MV to be precise, with its new plugin system.
